The product manager would be responsible for answering the question of what technology is to
be built that will delight our customers. This is done through interfacing with the marketing,
operations, and customer teams as well as through user research.
- Manage all aspects of a successful website product throughout its lifecycle, including product
strategy development, customer insights/needs, and requirements definition
- Defines the product acceptance testing criteria, ensures that they are met; plan for and ensures
that product (and features) are appropriately used and promptly resolves issues faced during
operationalization by working with different stakeholders
- To deliver a product that is stable in production and satisfies scalability, reliability, and
performance goals
- Build product with constant focus on UI/UX and continued emphasis on the same during the
entire lifecycle of the product.
- Support Category Solutions, Theme Solutions, & Selling initiatives by building systems that
leverage merchandize and content to drive commerce
- Understand and incorporate visual design, interaction modelling, and information architecture
into functional specifications.
- Understand the product's current and evolving business goals and translate them into a
scalable product vision.
- Alignment of product roadmap with market and competitive trends and customer demands.
- Exhibit sound product judgment and present clear measurable objectives that will lead to
achieving business goals.
- Continuously improve the product development process, incorporating lessons learned and
best practices
Desired Profile:
- You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the
drive to make that vision a reality.
- Strong knowledge of the eCommerce space and experience turning business requirements into
detailed functional design specifications.
- Proven experience building and deploying highly scalable, reliable, and flexible
systems/platforms in e-commerce
- Deep understanding of customer needs and building that into the shopping experience for the
category and portal
