The following graph represents the employment rates in six countries (Australia,
Switzerland, Iceland, UK, New Zealand and USA) in the year of 1995 and 2005.
Units are measured by percentage.
Overall, it is noticeable that male employee were the highest figure and the
percentage of female workers remained as lower around the six countries between
1995 and 2005. Both in 1995 and 2005, there were more male employees in
comparison to female employees, but the gap in gender employment reduced in
2005 by a big margin.
Around Among the six countries, the number of male employees in Iceland in
2005 and in 1995 was the highest portions above 80 percent and exactly 70
percent. On the other hand, women job holders were much less remained lower
figures both years especially in Australia in both the years. The second largest
figure was in New Zealand for both male and female workers about 80 and 70
percent in 2005 and 65 and 67 percent in 1995 respectively.
Between the USA and UK, they stood so near figures both men and women
employee both two years. But the percentage of male employee was higher and
female stood as lower figures in the year of 1995 and 2005 in New Zealand. Commented [I1]: There are no significant differences

same. However, it is clear that in 1995, UK had more female
workers but by 2005, the number of female employees
became slightly more than in UK.
