Define Social Science

As a define as scientific study of social, cultural, physiological, economic and political forces
that guide in individuals in their actions.

What is the importance of social science in the society?

Knowing social science so it is not relatively new since it means focus is all about the society.

In what capacity does social science had an impact in your life?

In our society it concerns more of about the social life of human being. Also it seeks to find
answers in different problems related in our society, just like other branches of science.

What is applied social science? What is the different between applied social science and
social science?

Social science is the mean even to them even system of knowledge and all knowledge includes
of human being including there cultures. As well as the knowledge of the natural environment.

Define social science?

Uhm… for me social science study of people, relationship and interaction on society but other
than that sa social science we have many branches that we need to study.

Importance of social science in the society ?

The main reason why we need to study the social science because the knowledge of the social
sciences can help us to improve our society when we study the social sciences we are studying
people put there societies together and we are looking and in fact there decision in the society
should be rough. By studying this thing we are becoming better in form about society should put
together. That’s all thank you.
In what capacity does social science had an impact in your life?

Uhh… for me ung impact ng social sciences sakin is mas nalalaman ko ung mga ibat ibang
philosophy and then nalalaman ko din ung right way ng pag treat sa ibang tao and then ung
attitude nila kasi nga napag aaralan sa social sciences ung ibat ibang theory and then philosophy
about human development that’s all thank you.

What is applied social science? What is the difference between applied social science and
social science?

Okay applied social science are those academic social science discipline profession and
occupation which shapes to use basic social science knowledge particular from social sociology
and economics and political science and social science naman is a study about psychology,
anthropology to make an impact in daily life.

This Narrative Report is all about Social Science and Applied Social Science in order to
understand the topic easily and have more informative knowledge, we came up on asking
questions on some people, to be specific, we interviewed three different subject teachers in
UPHSL, and five HUMSS Student from other schools regarding this.

The following questions are;

a. Define social science

According to our Discipline and Ideas in Social Sciences teacher, Ma’am Nica Mañabo she
said that it was defined as scientific study of social, cultural, physiological, economic and
political forces that guide in individuals in their actions. While Ma’am Anna Victoria Oca a
Personal Development teacher said that social science is a study of people, relationship and
interaction on society but other than that sa social science we have many branches that we
need to study.

b. What is the importance of social science in the society?

According to Ma’am Anna Victoria Oca a Personal Development teacher said that the main
reason why we need to study the social science because the knowledge of the social sciences
can help us to improve our society when we study the social sciences we are studying people
put there societies together and we are looking and in fact there decision in the society should
be rough. By studying this thing we are becoming better in form about society should put

Define Social Science

A social science is where the different branches of social science is introduced and a study of
human society and social relationships.

What is the importance of social science in the society?

For me the importance of social science in a society is the branches the branches explains on
how it is important to us the society because without the social science we are not we are today
for example there will be no families, government, and there will be no production because it is a
part of the social science.

It had an impact in my life because I've known on how the different branches works and the

Define Social Science

Social science is a study of human society and our social relationships.

What is the importance of social science in the society?

Social science had a great impact in our society. One of the biggest importance of social science
is that it help us to widen our idea throughout different aspects that society had, especially when
it comes to some issues that society were been facing therefore it will help us to have a brighter
idea of what we need to do that will atleast help our society to improve or to grow from certain
issues.

According to interviewee no. 1 the importance of social science in a society is the

According to all of the interviewee said that it had an impact in their lives. But according
to interviewee no 1. I’ve known on how the different branches works and the human
society and Interviewee no. 2 said that by the way of letting us know what act we must.
While interviewee no 3 said simply in means of concerning the society and what’s
happening in my surroundings, especially the developments and how it works. It helps
me to have more knowledge in means of social issues and of course through this, I’m
encourage to learn and study social science more. Interviewee no. 4 said it helps her
 understand the society and that it allows her to think of a way on how to create a better
society. It allows her to be aware of what is happening on the society. And lastly
interviewee no. 5 said social science is a wide spectrum that studies human behavior
that’s why I learned the characteristics of some people that I met and tell what’s the

I learned the differences of Applied Social Science into Social Science, and learned the different
perception of HUMSS Students and Teachers to the meaning and the differences Applied Social Science
and Social Science. And the Impact of the Social Science into our lives . Learning these things made me
more informative.

I learned that social science is very useful, you can handle situations easily and you can know the
behaviour of people around you. And applying the knowledge in the future will make you good
of a person cause there is so much information learning social science ant it has many branches
to pick from.
