NARRATIVE REPORT

The Level IV Bachelor of Science in Nursing Students, group 3 of the Laguna

State Polytechnic University had second duty at the school, last March 23, 2019

Saturday under the care of their clinical instructor, Mrs. Minerva P. Granada R.N.,

M.A.N. However, in order to enchance the preparation for their upcoming seminar

which was a requirement in Nursing Care Management 107 -B, Leadership and

Management, the students spent the day at school instead on the emergency room of

the Laguna Provincial Hospital, San Pablo City District Hospital.

The meeting regarding the aforementioned seminar commenced at 7:am in the

morning. Each committee narrated their accomplishments as well as their reports and

estimates regarding the amount that might be spent. The dean of the College of

Nursing and Allied Health, Dean May Veridiano FRIN as well as a fellow faculty

that was a teacher in charge, Rene Mundin RN, MAN, provided suggestions on what

the class can improve in terms of marketing and the seminar's financial aspects and

given each committee the list of expenses.. Furthermore, the president of the class,

Camille Anne De Padua, breifed each committee about the amount each had spent as

well as the number of participants that are currently registered. She also reminded and

encouraged every individual to give their best in each and every task. In the afternoon,

the documentation committee who was assigned in producing all aperworks including

the invitation letters that will be alloted in different hospitals was able to provide all
letters addressed to them. The letters were all tucked neatly in an envelope and were

distributed to students who

done a sponsorship letters for additional funds. The students, with all tasks done, were

able to dismiss at 5:00 pm.

At the end of the day, the student nurses learned the importance of cooperation

and appropriate collaboration with their peers in order to accomplish their tasks. Such

skills are significant, especially in the chosen career in which proper communication

is needed in order to provide utmost quality of care for their clients.
