a success

It was a weekend full of sun, fun and some


great pro rodeo and chuckwagon action at the
Perfect parade 2019 Strathmore Stampede from Aug. 2 to 5.
The fair-weathered weekend brought in thou-
sands of visitors to Strathmore over the long
Page 13 weekend. According to Ryan Schmidt, general
manager of the Strathmore and District Agri-
cultural Society, attendance was up 25 per cent
over 2018 with an estimated 40,000 patrons
coming through the gates and 26,000 tickets
sold.
“It was a fantastic weekend. We had great at-
tendances, the volunteers were wonderful and
smiling, and the number one thing that we did
hear was how hospitable of a treatment that
attendees got and just how well everybody was
treated,” said Schmidt. “I think all the specta-

Bylaw #19-13 proposes to amend Land Use Bylaw No. 14-11 by re-designating 2.342 hectares within
Phase 2 of the Edgefield Area Structure Plan development. The lands are legally described as NW 13-
24-25-W4M, as shown on Figure 1 below. This application proposes to reconfigure the existing approved
R1N and R2 districts to reflect current market conditions. Existing approved density calculations will not
increase or decrease as a result of this application.
