U.S. Amada Corner-Notching

Machines are ruggedly constructed
machines combining simplicity of
design with versatility and ea'ie of
operation.
Amada Corner Notchers have a
maximum cutting length of 8% x 8X
inches, and are designed to produce
large 9O-degree corner notches,
deep V notches, and angular cuts in
matelials up to Yrinch thick-at
production rates up to 40 strokes
per minute.
All three models (right) feature
hydraulic drives with a very low
noise level, minimizing operator
fatigue. Versatile controls give the
operator precise command over the
blade movement, and a convenient
foot switch permit') the operator
to use both hands for work
manipulation.
Accuracy is maintai]led, even dur­
ing long production runs, by rugged
twin work guides that are triple­
locked in place, yet can be precisely
adjusted for angle and position.
The position of each work guide is
indicated by a vernier scale, and
a thumbwheel is provided for line
adjustment.
A positive setting pin facilitates
rapid setup at 45 ~ 9O~ and 135 0 to
