TEACHER’S COMMENTS

Grammar: He can speak and communicate clearly


when it comes to common topics and typical
conversations. But he needs to have more support

right context.

Writing: He can write simple sentences and some


complex sentences. He can write a paragraph on some
given topics as well.
performance: He is quite talkative in class but not in
English. He does not join much in activities and does
not put effort in his work.

Grammar: He can form basic sentences but there are


many grammatical errors.

Writing: He can form simple sentences or even
fragments. However, he needs to improve on his
grammar and he needs to work on knowing how to
develop his ideas in English.

Study performance:
He always talks in class or if not talking, he is always
eating. He talks to his seatmates a lot and is one of the
naughty boys. He is passive in joining class activities.
Grammar: He is quite good in speaking. He can
formulate good ideas and speak quite well. There are
also less grammatical errors in his sentences.
Writing: He can make short paragraphs with a good

errors but quite better than most in his age.

Study performance: He is usually on time. He can be


responsible if you are strict with him but he can get
easily distracted by his friends.
Grammar: She is quite the slow learner. She can
follow the lesson but she needs more time to process
the idea. She can form good answers to question but
it is often just a repetition of ideas.

Writing: Her writing needs more improvement in


terms of developing ideas and basic grammar
structure
Study performance: She is quite reserved and does not
talk much in class. However, she tries to participate in
activities.

Grammar: She is a fast learner and always do what


the teacher asks from her. Her outputs are above
average. She usually finishes the exercises fast and
correctly as well.

Đỗ Nam Anh
Writing: She has many ideas and is able to develop
them effectively. However, her writing structure
needs to be developed especially when it comes to
essays.

Study performance: She never misses any class. Her


behavior and attitude is wonderful during lessons:
attentive, fast and careful.
Grammar: She is a fast learner. She understands the
lesson well. Her speaking skills and vocabulary is
good but she usually talks so she cannot finish the
tasks fast.
Writing: Her writing is well-written and well-

developed. Usually, there is not much to comment in
her writing except for some minor tenses mistakes.
She just needs to put more effort in it.

Study performance: Binh is very active and handles


team activities well. She is a fast learner as well with a
potential to be the class monitor.

Grammar: He has no problem understanding and


doing the grammar exercises in class. He has a good

comprehension and vocabulary is very rich/

Writing: He is able to produce a short paragraph but


the sentences are usually hard to understand because
of the odd word choices and how he arranges the
words in the sentences.

Study performance: Bao is usually the talkative one


and like to involve others in his talk during class.
However, he can grasp the lesson’s content very fast
and correct as well.

Grammar: She can understand what is taught in a


normal pace. She can speak well and clear. She makes
some mistakes but it is not tstill makes mistakes in
her exercises but she is trying very hard to keep up.

Writing: Her writing is quite weak. She does not


know how to develop an idea as well as write an
error-free sentence. She needs to come back to work
from the basic sentences up.
Study performance: She is quite punctual and never
misses a class. She is attentive during lessons and she
asks questions if she does not understand.

Grammar: She can finish the exercises very fast and


sometimes just by reading the instructions in the
paper, not by listening to the teacher.

Nguyễn Uyển Nhi


Writing: Her writing is very well-developed. She tries
to use complicated sentences. However, she needs to
pay more attention to the tenses.

Study performance: She is usually very punctual but


she does not go to class lately. She is one of the best
students in class: a fast learner, very active and
attentive.

Grammar: She can follow what is taught in class and


finish the exercises quite fast and correctly.

Writing: Her writing is quite simple with some

undeveloped ideas that can be more specified. She
needs to focus on brainstorming before she writes and
pay attention to the tenses.

Study performance: She is very attentive; although


does not raise her voice much in class, she is
responsive to the teacher and her peers.

Grammar: He can understand the lesson and finish


the exercises quite fast and correctly without much
trouble.
Trần Phúc Khánh
Writing: He can produce a short paragraph but his
writing is usually quite simple. It is great that he does
not make many mistakes, but he needs to work on
longer sentences.
Study performance: Khanh is a very nice student. He
is polite and he has good manner in class. Although he
sometimes is involved in talking in class, he can
refocus and have a good performance.

Grammar: He is one of the fastest to understand and


finish the exercises that are given in class. He usually
does not make any mistakes.
Viết Nhật Anh
Writing: His writing needs to be brushed. He can
develop ideas but he does not really pay attention to
the details like spelling or word choice. He also needs
to focus on using the correct tenses.

Study performance: Nhat Anh is bright and calm. He


shows to be quite a mature in class and quite
responsive to the teacher. He is very punctual and he
never misses a class as well.

Grammar: He can understand and finish the


exercises that are given as fast as any students in the
class if he pays attention and listens to the teacher.

Nguyễn Gia Khánh


Writing: His writing is quite simple. With simple
writings, he does not make many mistakes but I
would love to see him try for more complicated
sentences.

Study performance: He is quite attentive to the lesson,


unless being distracted by others. If he can sit alone,
he is very effective and can learn fast as well.

Grammar: He understands and finishes most of the


exercises in class with a decent speed. His answers are
correct as well.

Phạm Sơn Khôi


Writing: He was not able to finish any writings in
class nor does he do them at home. He needs to
practice brainstorming so that the speed improves.

Study performance: Khoi is very shy and he talks very


small even when he is asked. He does not go to class
very regularly and therefore, sometimes can fall
behind.

Grammar: He understand what is taught in the class


and he can finish the exercises at a decent rate. He
should focus more on past tenses.

Writing: His sentences are quite simple but he can
use most of the tenses correctly. He needs to work on
longer and more complicated sentences.

Study performance: He is somewhat quiet in class and


usually does not actively answer the teacher’s
questions. However, he listens to the teacher very
carefully and attentively.

Grammar: She finishes all the exercises very fast and


usually 100% correct. She has no problem catching
up with the previous lessons as well.

Lê Thu Hà
Writing: Her writing is well-developed and well-
written. She only makes a few mistakes in the use of
tenses because she did not check her work
afterwards.

Study performance: Although she can only attend


classes every two weeks, she is fast to understand the
lesson and very attentive.

Grammar: His grammar skills are quite weak. Most


of the time in class he did not pay attention enough so
upon being called to answer, he could not give the
answers.
Writing: He can produce a paragraph but it is
usually too short without enough ideas to develop. He

still makes mistakes with tenses but if he focuses on
what he is doing, he can achieve a better result.

Study performance: He is quite punctual and hardly


skips any lesson. However, he is usually sleepy in class
because of going to classes all day and he cannot follow
the teacher.
