Project Description:
The Global Payment Acceptance (GPA) business unit within Barclaycard is
responsible for card acquiring services offered to its merchant customers across the
UK and continental Europe. They cover about 38% market share in UK. The
Barclaycard’ s current portfolio of acquired merchants is principally hosted across
two processing systems, namely Darwin and CAMSII. There are approximately 300K
merchants being managed on these systems with a degree of interdependence existing
between the two. They are to be replaced by a newly established installation of
BankWORKS which is to be hosted and managed internally by Barclaycard. The key
drivers for data migration are a combination of Business and Operational Needs,
Compliance Needs and Data Needs of the Target System

Data migration between these incumbent systems to the new BankWORKS

installation which will become the core processing engine for all merchant acquiring

business and TCV MDM which handles the master data for customer information;
allowing the decommissioning of Darwin and CAMS II.

Responsibilities:
 Responsible for managing scope, planning, tracking, change control, aspects

percent of U.S. beer sales. MC operates eight major breweries in the U.S
The scope of MC Service includes Level 2 and Level 3 Application Management
Services for Legacy Miller Applications which provides support and maintenance to
its customers and business owners to monitor and run the business as usual.
The Data ware House “ EIW” is designed to analyze the business results and
growth separately and as a combination for SAB Miller and Molson Coors brewing
companies so that the business people analyze the trends in various aspects like sales,
marketing, quality, tax and profit etc…

Responsibilities:

 Extensively worked with various source systems like flat file source systems,
Oracle
 Designed “ Parameter Sets” job which can be accessed by all jobs globally.
 Worked with various stages like Sequential File, Aggregator, Transformer and
Complex flat file Stages.
 Used Datastage Director and runtime engine to schedule jobs, testing and
debugging its components and monitoring resulting executable versions (on
ad-hoc or scheduled basis).
 Worked on programs for scheduling data loading and transformations using
Datastage.
 Developed UNIX Shell scripts to automate file manipulation and data loading
procedures.
 Conducted knowledge transfer sessions to development, testing and operations
