How to Use This Guide?


TMS is a Web based application and can be accessed at multiple locations at a time. This
product replaces the existing manual procedure of track maintenance. The software
would be implemented for Indian Railways with functionalities to check status of tracks
and resources deployed for maintenance at various locations. The users across Indian
Railways are categorized into seven levels, based on the level the software decides scope
of access to the application.

Overview of the System


Track Management System (TMS) is Web based application that integrates track
structure data, inspection data to assist railways and checks level of maintenance and
accuracy. The main purpose of introducing Track Management System in Indian
Railways is to enhance level of safety of passengers and goods.

Accessing the Application


To access the TMS application, launch Internet Explorer and in the URL
type: http://ircep.gov.in/TMS//Login.jsp
This displays the Login screen.. Refer to Figure: 1

At any point in the application user can view the frequently asked question by using the
FAQs link provided at the top right hand corner of the TMS screen. Refer to Figure: 2.

Change Password
At any point in the application user can change password, using the Change Password
link provided at the top right hand corner of the TMS screen. Refer to Figure: 2.

1. Click Change Password link. This displays the User Profile screen. Refer to
Figure: 3.

1. Click Station from the menu bar under Masters. This displays the Station Master

2. Select the Division from the drop-down list.
3. Click GO button. This displays the existing Station details. Refer to Figure: 6.

3. Clock GO button.

The inspection registers are generated in pdf format and can be stored in user’s computer
for offline viewing.

Steps for generating Sectional Wise Inspection report


1. Click Inspection Register from the menu bar under Report. This displays the
Inspection Register screen.
2. Click Sectional radio button
3. Enter the following details.
• Division:
Division Select from the drop-down list.
