I. General Information

Dream Report® is the first complete, web-enabled Data Analysis and Reporting software package, specially
designed for industrial automation. Being built on modern technologies, Dream Report enables easy connectivity to
automation systems and equipment, collecting and archiving real-time data and alarms, making online analysis and
doing automatic generation and e-distribution of professional reports, and enabling web management over the
internet and intranet. An intuitive and easy to use interface allows fast project development with low engineering
costs. Dream Report is able to access external history databases and produce reports based on historical data and
alarms.

The Dream Report licensing model is based on the number of data items (tags), used in Dream Report project
for archiving or for reporting.
❖ Same data item, used for archiving and reporting in several objects is accounted only once.
❖ Same data item, used in several reports is accounted only once.
❖ Data Items, originated from analytical or dummy drivers are not accounted in a license.
❖ Dream Report license includes access to Development Studio and Runtime.

The Dream Report Web Portal enables access to important information for anyone at any place. The Web
portal enables remote users to visualize existing reports, and generate new reports over the internet or intranet.
The Web portal also enables users to print, save locally or send any existing report by email. User management
ensures secure access to the Web Portal for authorized users only. Access rights define the level of access and
user capability.

The Web portal is licensed as an option and its license model is based on a number of concurrent web clients,
connected to Dream Report server.

III. Additional License Add-On Options

In addition to base license parameters, there are additional license options available, which will help
maximizing use of Dream Report for specific needs and vertical markets.

The available license options are:

Concurrent developer seat. This license option enables additional

Life Sciences option. Enables extra functions for Life Sciences

SPC license option. This license option enables extra functions,

charts and tables for SPC calculations, which are not available in a DR-SPC $ 1,200
standard version.

Redundant (backup) license. A runtime license, which can be

DBATCH. The tool for electronic batch recording DBATCH $ 950

BACnet license option. Enables BACnet native connector. DB-BACNET $ 1,300

• Each license option is purchased in addition to a base license and cannot be used separately,
without a license itself.

• A license can have multiple options, used combined within a license.

IV. Partner license (System Integrator Pack)

Ocean Data Systems provides special licenses (SI Pack) for partners and systems integrators for Dream
Report product learning, testing, demonstration and project development.

Partner license has 10,000 tags and 5 web clients and is issued for 1 year. After license expiration, its
validity term can be prolonged for the next year, if the license holder is still the partner of Ocean Data
Systems and is willing to renew the license.

Partner license is supplied with a formal CD pack, on a USB license dongle.

Basic yearly license for partners and System Integrators.
DR-SIP The license has 10,000 tags and 5 web clients. The license is supplied on $ 260/year
a USB key with a Dream Report CD. Validity period is 1 year.

Partner license can be used only for the purposes, mentioned herein above and cannot be used in in real
projects, in production or other purposes, not mentioned herein above.

V. Maintenance and Support Contract

5.1. Valid Software Maintenance agreement provides Dream Report customers following benefits:

❖ Access to technical support of Ocean Data Systems by email/phone/fax

❖ Free license upgrades to all new versions released during the valid maintenance period.

5.2. Maintenance and support is not included in a Dream Report license price and can be purchased
separately.

5.3. The cost of a Dream Report license maintenance and support contract is 18% of the corresponding
license purchase price for 1 (one) year and is charged annually based on the license date of purchase.

VI. License Upgrade

6.1 Version Upgrade

A) The license which has valid maintenance and support contract is entitled for free upgrade for any new
version, which was released during valid maintenance and support contract of that license.

B) If the license has no valid maintenance and support contract, a user can purchase new version upgrade.
The version upgrade has a flat cost of 50% from the license price. This option will grant a license version
upgrade and will not grant license maintenance and support contract renewal.

6.2 Change of Scope Upgrade

Upgrade of license options, such as number of tags, number of web clients etc. is possible at any time
after license purchase.

The price for such an upgrade will be calculated as a difference between the cost of an old option and the
cost of a new option, adding 10% for production cost.

Example: Upgrading license from 250 tags and 2 web clients to 1000 tags and 5 web clients will cost:
(DR-1000 – DR-250) + (WEB-5 – WEB-2) +10%, i.e.
($7,800 - $3,800) + ($2,300 - $1,050) = $5,250 +10% = $5,775

NOTE: 10% Production cost is not charged on DR-10000 and UNLIMITED license models.

VII. Services

7.1 Ocean Data Systems can provide high-quality technical services to its customers.

These include:
❖ Dream Report project design and development
❖ Development of Dream Report custom functions (software development)
❖ Custom driver development (data, alarm and history drivers for any proprietary protocols,
adapting ODBC connectivity for custom database structures etc.)
❖ Onsite visits to Dream Report end users for technical assistance.
❖ Technical assistance, custom software development, application development for other 3-d party
products.

The technical engineers of Ocean Data Systems can perform service-related work locally (on-site) or
remotely.

7.2 The cost of technical services is $800 - $1200 per day, depending on complexity and volume of the
task.

7.3 Training - Ocean Data Systems provides professional on-site Dream Report training. Standard
training duration is 3 days.

VIII. License Delivery. Software and Hardware (USB Dongles) License

8.1 Dream Report license can be delivered as a software license or a hardware license, which is a USB
license dongle.

8.2 A software license is a file, which is linked to specific hardware (HDD ID) and is supplied at no cost.

8.3 Dream Report license can be supplied as a USB license dongle. This license will work on any
computer, where that USB license dongle is inserted into a USB port.

8.3.1 Distributors may purchase blank USB license dongles at a regular price and then update USB
license information using upgrade codes from Ocean Data Systems Ltd. USB license dongle.

8.3.2 The price of a Dream Report USB license dongle is $90. USB license dongle is supplied with a
formal Dream report CD.
