 Van Gorp Idler Advantages

1. 25-30% in potential energy savings (versus competitive designs) as a result of

reduced friction. CEMA B and CEMA C are 3.5 to 4.5 N compared to approximately 6 N.

2. Ball bearings are sealed for life.

3. Features a double, triple labyrinth seal. Filled with lithium based grease.
Prevents penetration of water and contamination into the bearings.
Competition leaves seal dry, exposing the bearing to contamination.

4. Concave seal design utilizes centrifugal force to expel any contamination that is
able to get past the outer dust cover.

5. Internal snap ring to secure the bearing, and an additional external snap ring
secures the seal.

6. C1018 Shaft material.

7. ERW1020 Tube material for CEMA B, C, D and E idlers. CEMA F uses DOM Tubing.

8. Water resistant sealing system.

9. Flame resistant seal material (up to 302F or 150C).

10. Capable of operating at temperatures down to -22F or -30C with standard lubrication.
Lower temperatures attainable with optional lubrication.

11. Standard idlers rated for above or below ground use.

12. Warrantied for 36 months from ship date.

TROUGHED IMPACT IDLER

Troughed belt rubber cushion idlers protect
the belt by absorbing impacts at loading
and transfer points. They are available in
