II. SUBJECT MATTER


Topic: INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY
Subtopic: History of Technology
Current State of ICT
Materials: laptop and speaker
References: HUMSS (possibe jobs) (video presenatation)
Sa ABM, Ikaw ang boss (video presenatation)

A. Routinary Activity
A.1 Checking of Attendance
A.2 Setting up Classroom Atmosphere
B. Priming – MY THREE’s
The students will share three ideas they learned about ICT to the class.
C. Activity- Brainstorming
1. The students will be grouped according to their track (ABM, HUMSS, GAS).
2. Then, they will dicuss the roles of ICT in their respective career paths and
how does ICT affects the current situation of your chosen career.
3. They will write their answers on a whole sheet of paper and assigned two
reporters for each track. 20 minutes will be given for this activity.
D. Analysis
1. What is/are the role/s of ICT in your future path of career (ABM, HUMSS, GAS)
2. Are there any pro’s and cons of ICT in your future path of career? Explain.
E. Abstraction
Information and Communications Technologies plays a vital role in the
different field of career. Also, it has advantage s and disadvantages that needs to
be addressed for the total progress of ICT.
F. Application
F.1 During your Immersion, what are the forms of ICT your company you are in
were using? Are there any problems occured while utilizing them? Think of ways
that can be done to solve these problems.
F.2 In your own ways, how can you use the the “power” of ICT at its best?
