Introduction
Extra-Curricular Activities or Extra Academic Activities are those that fall outside
students. Extracurricular activities exist for all students. And generally, volunteer
activities aren't always extracurricular activities. Such activities are generally voluntary,
social, philanthropic, and often involve others of the same age. Students often organize
and direct these activities under faculty sponsorship, although student led initiatives,

younger kids don’t yet experienced the teenager life of their older brothers and sisters

children to participate? This is one of the impacts of our economy that may be causing
both family budget and school budget. This may affect the student’s connectedness to
his or her school, as if they cannot participate, they may feel left out or isolated.

Cell phones, tablets, iPads, and more gadgets are some main causes of a
student’s poor productivity in school. He or she doesn’t want to join any contests
because they always think of their gadgets after a day in school. What will the parents
and guardians of the students do to stop too much eye contact with the gadget?
Students should reduce being leisure because maybe in school a teacher asked

An extracurricular activity can be almost anything that isn’t required for high
school credit or paid employment. These activities will become very important later,
such as when you are applying to colleges, because they help you develop your talents,
interests, and passions. They can also teach you practical skills like time management.
With so many options out there, all students should be able to find an extracurricular
school, so you should also consider things that you do with your family or within your
community as viable options. Below I've listed many popular activities that you may not
have thought of as extracurricular activities. Take a look at the list and see if your
activities are already on the list, or if anything you hadn't considered before catches
your eye. Of course, this list isn’t complete, because you can turn almost any interest
into an extracurricular. If you are actively involved in something that you don't see here
meaning you spend a significant amount of time doing an activity that is allowing you to
develop a talent or interest, be a leader, or help out your community - then you should

great way to meet people who are different from you. Lots of youth programs bring
people together with those who are different as a way to break down the barriers
between people. Mark, a senior who lives in Washington, DC, discovered this when he

An extremely wide variety of clubs and societies is offered. Sporting are very
popular, are ranging from aerobics to volleyball. On the creative side, music, art and

importantly this study only focuses on the impact of extracurricular activities to Brahman

Signs and symptoms of extracurricular activities differ from person to person. But
here are some general warning signs that extracurricular activities may have become a
problem:
Isolation of friends and family. Do extracurricular activities take too much of your
attention and forgot to know what’s happening to your friends and supportive family? Do
Losing track of time while doing the activity. Do you often take too much time on the

Having a hard time continuing the task at school. Do you forget to ask your
classmates what missed seat works and homework’s you have to do? Perhaps, you
knew what to do but did nothing just to think you will get a perfect score?
Feeling guilty about the activity you’re involved on. Do you get angry at your

ways. Talented athletes and actors can achieve acclaim for their talents, while many
school clubs and projects offer educational and social opportunities that aren’t available
in the classroom. But extracurricular activities have their negative aspects, too.
Students should be aware of the potential pitfalls of those activities to make sure their
activities demand more time and energy than many students can handle. If you’re a
student who needs a little longer than your peers to finish your homework, an activity
that takes up several hours every afternoon after school may not leave you with

clubs or activities that only meet once or twice a week or that only meet for short
You may choose an activity that leaves enough time for school work and other
priorities, but you might choose to devote your extra time and attention to that
extracurricular interest. For example, you may love being involved with the drama
program at your school because you love performing or working backstage, and it’s
where your best friends are. So, instead of staying after class to get extra help when

carefree moments that foster discovery and imagination. This is especially true in

new games, instead of following a rigid schedule established by parents and other

grownups. If you have a young child who has lessons, sports practice and other
structured activities throughout the week, think about whether he's getting enough "kid
time." If he seems stressed or over-scheduled, drop an activity and allow for some
simple activities like tree climbing, informal games or free play with friends and family.
So, what are the different warning signs of extracurricular activities? Here are the
Your child losses track of the time while practicing. He or She disobeys some
rules made by their parents such as the time to obey when the practice of sports
activities are done. Your child eats in front of his or her study table. He or She forgets to
do the different tasks at home. Some may cause different injuries and physical
discomfort. Your child gets annoyed if interrupted practicing his or her talent for the
contest. Easily gets provoked on something that he or she doesn’t want to happen in
the time of the contest. Impatient of the child may be expressed during the contest. Your
child is too preoccupied with the activity they’ve joined in. Signs and symptoms may
occur if your child doesn’t take care it’s oneself. Your child might easily get stressed if

Most parents with one or more school-age children say it’s easy to find after-
school activities and programs in their community, and this is reflected in the fact that
most parents say their children participated in some form of extracurricular activity in
the 12 months prior to the survey. Sports or athletic activities are the most popular, but
at least half of parents say their children ages 6 to 17 have participated in religious

There are a lot of problems can occur if your child is directly stressed and
haven’t got any sleep and rest he or she wanted. So, here are the following to find out if
your child has an impact or a problem in your child about extracurricular activities.
20
1. Isolation: Extracurricular activities cause oneself to be left behind from friends
and family that you love. But, some kids don’t like to spend time with their family
2. Losing track of time: When a person is focused too much he or she can lose
track of the time. They don’t even know how long they’ve been practicing too
much. They easily get annoyed when someone disturbs them on what they are
doing in their study table or inside and outside the school campus.
3. Sick and Pale: When a child gets too stressful it might get into a child’s
sickness feeling while in the contest. A child should always be protected and take
different task such as studying for the upcoming tests, completing their
assignments and seat works at school. It takes more time and nagging for them
5. Feeling guilty: Since the child spends a lot of time in the activity he or she
forgets to notice his or her friends. They are proving to telling lies to hide the
