1.0 Introduction

This document describes the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the Asset
Management. These KPIs will support the asset management’s process control framework
and periodic quality assessments of asset management processes and data.

2.0 Initial Proposed Reports

Initial proposed reports for Asset Management:

 Inventory listing by type of asset (i.e. server, router, switch, printer etc.)
 Base Line Report for Assets.
 Inventory listing by status of asset (i.e. ordered, deployed, retired etc.)
 Report on unauthorized additions, modifications, or removal of assets.

The future proposed reports for Asset Management:

 Inventory listings of servers by Operating System

 Identification of configuration items (servers, printers, routers and switches) having

the most incidents.

 Individuals outside of the asset team modifying the asset information.

 Identification of individuals outside of the asset team modifying the assets

information.

 Accuracy of Asset information

The percentage improvement in the accuracy of audit of configuration items.

 Time taken to reconcile the inventory

The percentage improvement in the speed of the audit of configuration items.

 Percentage of difference from Base Line

The percentage of difference in attributes change from a given base line.
