Trader and Investor Accounts
1. Application Info need as shown on website (United States)
i. Social Security Number (SSN) or proof of ID number if not US citizen;
ii. Your employer name, address and phone number;
iii. Bank or 3rd party broker account numbers for funding purposes, plus
routing number for check deposits.
2. Account Set-up and Verifications

i. Email verification after keying in your email address, username, password,
and country of residence.
ii. The application process can only continue after logging into the account
from the verification link in the email.
iii. Username, Password, residential country + country of legal residence
iv. Personal Info: Legal name, marital status, number of dependents,
addresses, citizenship, tax residency, employment status, source of wealth
v. Confirm your mobile number, upload the required documents, and fund
your account.

3. Account Approval (Log in cannot be permitted without approval of identifications)

US Residents
Interactive Brokers generally verifies the names and addresses of its US-resident
applicants electronically. If we are unable to verify your identity electronically, you will
be asked to provide additional documents.

Non-US Residents
- Passport, National Identity Card, Driver's License, or Alien Identification
Card

- Proof of Address (Utility bill, mortgage statement, bank statement, etc.)

To use IB Key with IBKR Mobile

Since IB Key is integrated with IBKR Mobile, it's easy to employ two-factor
authentication when logging into your mobile trading account.

Note: If you're using a mobile device that does not include a

SIM card, you will be required to complete IB Key
authentication via your phone, similar to the way you use
IB Key with TWS for Desktop.

1. Open IBKR Mobile on your phone.

2. Log into your account with your username/password credentials.

3. The IB Key security screen appears. Complete authentication using your

fingerprint or passcode.
