Uses of nail care tools and equipment
b. Performance Standards: Tools and equipment are prepared based on salon procedure and
policies.
Tools and equipment are used according to task requirements.
C.1. Learning Objectives: At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to identify the
uses and function of nail care tools and equipment.

b.1 The teacher will group the class into three (3)
b.2 Each group will be given picture of tools and equipment and they will classify, if that tools
belong to BPP, CARPENTRY and NAIL CARE.
b.3 After 3 minutes they will report it in the class.
- The teacher will ask, what do you think is the connection of your activity to our lesson
this morning?
c. Presentation of objectives
Our objective this morning is you be able to identify the uses and function of nail care tools and
equipment.
d. Activity (Identify me)
-The same group will be given pictures and names of tools/materials/equipment of nail care
-They will identify what name of that tools/materials/equipment.
- Classify them using the grid below

- The teacher will show video clip (KMJS-about Nail Care Tools)

- What have you learned from the video?
Directions: After learning about the different tools, materials and equipment, with your own sets of nail
care tools, materials and equipment, classify them using the grid below. Do this on a separate sheet of paper.
