Assistance provided to
coops to graduate from:
a. Micro to Small Process:
b. Small to Medium For micro coops, they will coordinate among themselves a common
schedule in the conduct of Fundamentals of Cooperatives & Governance
and Management Training by CDA.
For small to large coops, they are encouraged to align with ICA’s vision
2020 that cooperatives are: 1. The acknowledge leader in the economic,
social and environment sustainability; 2. That cooperatives is preferred
by the people as their structure in business; and 3. That cooperatives is
the fastest growing enterprise.

Impacting Activities:
1. For micro to graduate, the training is extended:
 into analyzing their cooperative businesses that needs
enhancement of their strengths and opportunities
 in sharing of experiences and strategies among cooperatives
during the training is finding practical solution as well as
reinforcing the learning
2. The activities that had an impact to the growth of small
cooperative graduating into medium cooperatives are:
 Laboratory Cooperative forum among small cooperatives is
a continuing activity that is crucial as it is a rich source of
regular membership and expanded volume of business
among cooperatives.
 Investment forum for Small Medium and Large
cooperatives.
No. 2- Capability building
activities provided to coops
to comply with :
a. Mandatory training 2 8 Process: For micro, CDA-CAR uses MC 2017-01.
for Officers For other categories, CDA-CAR has partnered with CDO of LGUs where
the cooperatives are located and are operating. For Training Providers
to conduct mandatory training based on the TNA and research outcome.
Impacting Activities:
1. LGU-CDA partnership on the regular conduct of mandatory
training with emphasis that cooperatives are the appendages of
the LGU in social, economic and environment development.
2. Presentation of research outcome.
