3.2 The classes in each school from which the samples will be drawn shall be
from top and middle sections. If the classes are heterogeneously
grouped always ask for one class which has the most number of students
who can react 100% to the test.

3.3 The sample for each type of school may vary depending on the enrolment
provided that in a class there shall be 40 students (G7 and G11).

3.5 As much as possible, select a school with Senior High School.

3.6 The classes from private schools may come from any available private
school (preferably sectarian school)

3.7 Random sampling of students shall be used in schools where classes are
more than your sample size.

3.8 Whenever possible there should be equal number of male and female
student samples.

3.9 To manage the two classes, start the test in one class and when they are in
the test proper, go to the next class. Do not let any teacher to assists you
in the administration of the test nor let any one of them get hold of the
test materials.
4. Test Booklet

4.1 There are two (2) test forms (Forms A and B) in each subject for NATG6
and NATG10

4.2 Each researcher per division will be provided with 16 TBs per form for all
testing programs

5. Answer Sheet

Scannable Answer Sheets (AS) are generic. The generic AS is printed back to
back, the examinee will use one side of the AS for NAT form A and the other side
for NAT form B of the same subject for all testing programs. As much as possible
all information must be accomplished namely grade/year level, gender, subject
and form.

Examiners must remind examinees to write the complete test booklet codes
and the test form at the upper right portion of the AS.

6. Distribution of Test Materials Per Examination Room

6.1 Distribution shall be as follows:

Example: In each class of 40 Grade 7 students, there will be five (5) sets of
test booklets as shown below

Distribution of NATG6 TBs in 1 Class of 40 Grade 7 students

Each examinee will take Form B of the same subject

7. Time Allotment

7.1 The time allotment for each grade level, as shown below, should be
considered as the maximum. To allow examinees to react to all items, they
should be given additional time of not more than 50% of the time alloted

Administered No. of Items per subject

Total Time Allotment
to x No. of Sessions

Grade 7 (NATG6) 27 x 2 = 54 1 hour and 20 mins

Grade 11 (NATG10) 54 x 2 = 108 2 hours

8. Test Proper

8.1 Before the examinees are allowed inside the room, see to it that the seats
are arranged to forestall any attempt on the part of the examinees to
communicate with each other

5. Review your answers if you finish the test ahead.

8.3 Distribute the test booklet with corresponding AS in accordance with the

school should be bundled together. Each bundle should have an
accompanying label with corresponding informations: Testing Programs,
Grade Level, Subject, Test Form (A and B), Division, Name of School, Type
School and No. of Samples

9.4 When all ASs are completely cleaned, edited, and bundled, prepare the KEY
to Correction. Shade the KEY in the Scannable AS per grade/year level,
