CALL FOR NOMINATIONS FOR COUNCIL 2020/2021

In accordance with the Constitution of the Geological Society of Malaysia, the

Society wishes to call for nominations for the following posts:

1) President
2) Vice President
3) Secretary
4) Assistant Secretary
5) Treasurer
6) Editor
7) Councillors (4 for 2-year each)

Please note that unless nominated and elected for some post, the following
Councillors will continue to serve the new Council for another year:

a. Prof. Dr. Joy Jacqueline Pereira (SEADPRI-UKM)

b. Dr. Nur Iskandar Taib (UM)
c. Mr. Tan Boon Kong (Consultant)
d. Dato’ Yunus Abdul Razak (SEADPRI-UKM)

All nominations on the form attached must reach the Secretary by 30 September
2019. Please also note that those who are nominated and their respective proposer
and seconder must be members of the Society whose subscriptions are not in
arrears.
