1. Observation – Gamhariya Panchayat witness sheet erosion. Maximum sheet erosion is evident in
southern, central and eastern part of the gram panchayat.

2. Observation – Gamhariya wasteland is careterized primarily as degaraded forest land that is

evident in the central part of the Gram Panchayat

Observation-Majority of land is under forest cover and crop land. Forest cover is prominent in the
northen part of GP and Cultivaable areas are primarily in the southern part of the GP.

Observation-Structural lineament, joints and fratures are visible cuuting across the GP from North
and South east part of the GP.

3. Observation – Gamhariya GP has primarily three different ground water prospects. In the
northen part of GP the ground water prospect is greater than 80m deep with 20-30 LPM yeild. In
the eastern and western part, the ground water prospect is less than 30m deep with yeild between
50-100 LMP. In the central part, there is no yeild.

“Selection of NGGB Works”

2.1 Problem Statement

In selection of the NGGB Works:-
 To protect crops by grazing of animal on the field/farms.
 To provide better shelter, medical facilities and Breeding.
GP and JP level MGNREGA identified problems forBelsar Gram Panchayat are as -

1. To protect crops is one of the major concerns

2. Better ShelterGram Panchayat has less than 6 percent of animals has better shelter to
protect them from sun, rain and dust.
3. Medical Facilities – To give better Treatment From sickness and birth realted issues.
4. Lack of proper management of animal waste.

2.2 Prioritisation of Options

 Conserve area for Gothan and GOCHAR.

 Proper protective boundries.

 Proper Road for rainy sesons.

 Proper grazing area and supplementary KOTNA

 Clean and neat water and water tank for animals.

 Porper management of animal’s waste using wormy compost and nadep tank.

 Urine collection chambers.
