Dear Parents/Guardians,

Please be informed that your son/daughter/ward, ______Name of student_________, would like to

compete in the Local Level of STI’s Tagisan ng Talino (TNT) 2019 – Codefest competition. The TNT is an
annual academic competition where STI students exhibit exemplary knowledge, skills, and attitude by
contending with other STIers from within the campus (Local Level) and from different campuses (Cluster
and National Level). It is intended to provide an avenue for our students to apply what they have learned
in school and to further develop the STI 4Cs (character, critical thinking, communication, and change-
adept). This is also an opportunity for our institution to recognize students for their excellent
performance.

Please be advised that should your son/daughter/ward win as the Codefest Local Level Champion, he/she
will represent his/her school in the Cluster Level Competition to be held at <Cluster Level Venue> in
<Area> on March 1, 2019. Then, if he or she wins as the Cluster Level Champion, he/she will again
represent his/her school and cluster in the National Level Competition to be held at the STI Training
Lounge in STI Academic Center Ortigas-Cainta from April 10 to 12, 2019.

Moreover, as a National Level finalist, your son/daughter/ward will also get an opportunity to explore the
local community of Cagayan De Oro after the competition. His or her transportation from airport to the
competition venue and the succeeding tour, terminal fees (if applicable), food during the actual
competition, and accommodation will be subsidized through the STI Network Events Fund (NEF).To ensure
their safety and welfare, all winning participants of each STI campus will be joined by an authorized school
coordinator.

To confirm the participation of your son/daughter in the Local Level and consequently, the Cluster then
the National Level, kindly fill out the attached forms, detach, and have it be submitted to the Academic
Head of STI <Name of School> not later than <Day>, <Date>.

challenges of the future!

 PARENT’S/GUARDIAN’S CONFORME AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

As the parent/guardian of the student of the aforementioned student, I hereby acknowledge that I have
been informed of the details of the off-campus activity. Furthermore, I understand the risks associated
with an off-campus activity and agree that the rules and regulations established for the said activity are
for the safety, and security of the participants, and thus agree to instruct my child to obey them.

Having understood all of the aforementioned:

I am allowing my son/daughter to compete in the Tagisan ng Talino – Codefest Local Level

Competition organized by the STI Education Services Group, Inc. (STI-ESGI). Subsequently, if he
or she wins, I am also allowing him or her to compete in the Cluster then possibly, the National
Level to be held from April 10 to 12, 2019 at the STI Academic Center Ortigas-Cainta. His/her
participation in the National Level would include a tour in Cagayan De Oro.

I am not allowing my son/daughter to compete in the Tagisan ng Talino Local Level Competition.
