III. Research Methodology

A. Research Design

Descriptive-survey method was used by the proponents as research

design in this study. A survey questionnaire was used by the descriptive-

survey method to gather data/information with regards to the response of the

respondents on the proposed system.

B. Population, Sample Size and Sampling Technique

The respondents of this study used random sampling technique to select

randomly, samples from the different level of population.

C. Description of Respondents

The proponents chose the Qubiertos Grill and Restaurant and BSIT

students of AMA Paranaque as the software evaluator/tester. The

respondents of the study will compose of ten (10) Qubiertos Grill and

Restaurant staffs and Forty (40) students of AMA Paranaque. They will be

responsible for evaluating and testing the proposed system based on the

criteria provided by the proponents, so that the objectives of the study will

meet its goal.

D. Research Instrument

Questionnaires will be used by the proponents to gather more information

and data with regards to the possible effects and benefits of the proposed

system to the end-users of it. The proponents will give the respondents

questionnaires for them to answer fairly and wisely.

The proponents will gather data by interviewing and using survey

questionnaires to the end-users of the system. This method will help

understand and intensify the propose system.

 Questionnaires

A survey research with questionnaires would be used by the proponents to

the respondents that they will be answering to help the proponents

achieve the expected outcome of the proposed system.

 Interview

A face-to-face interview to the respondents of this study would be conduct

by the proponents to gather more information/data that will help the

proposed system meets its goals.

 Survey

The proponents will use this tool/technique, so that the proposed system

will meet its goals and success before it will implement to the Qubiertos

Grill and Restaurant.

E. Data Gathering Procedures

The proponents will use questionnaires for the users of the

proposed system in order to gather more data/information, to gathered

more relevant and useful information to conduct this study.

F. Statistical Treatment of Data

For this study the proponents will use Likert scale as the statistical

treatment for measuring the collected data that will be a part of the survey-

questionnaire of our system. Likert scale is the most widely used approach to

scaling responses in survey research. The original Likert scale used a series of

questions with five response alternatives: Strongly Disagree (1), Disagree (2),

Neutral (3), Agree (4), Strongly Agree (5). The proponents combined the

responses from the series of questions to create a measurement scale.
