But another serious problem rising is that amount of waste

II. METHODOLOGY

Fig. 1
The above figure shows the block diagram of the proposed
system. It contains two IR sensors, Arduino Uno and
Raspberry pie. Amongst the two ultrasonic one IR sensor will Fig 3 : At receiving station(The SERVER)
detect 50% garbage collected in dustbin and second IR sensor
will detect 100% garbage collected in dustbin. IR sensors are

The below screenshots indicate the working of the proposed

At first, the level of garbage collected in dustbin is measured

by Infrared sensor. One Infrared sensor is going to detect 50%
threshold level of bin whether it is half filled. Second Infrared
sensor is going to detect that bin is completely full. If the
garbage level is crossing 50% level then first warning
message is sent to municipality. When bin is completely full
then again second warning message is sent to municipality.

V. APPLICATIONS AND FUTURE WORK

This proposed approach can be used to keep our city clean.

Also this is the first step to manage waste. This work can be
further extended as to identifying the type of waste and
disposing thereafter. This can help very efficiently in wet
waste management.
