THE PROBLEM AND ITS SCOPE

Introduction

People nowadays are fascinated by the breakthrough of information

technology. Technology development contributed to the expansion of social change.

Technology refers to all the methods people develop to satisfy their needs and wants,

the greatest reason for change in technology is peoples’ desire to make their live better

and easier. The use of Information and communication technology has brought a new

range to the field of education most particularly among students, and teachers itself. In

classroom where technology is use to engage students in learning, teachers is no longer

the informational givers instead they have becomes facilitator guides and co-learners,

as a facilitator teachers provide rich learning environments, experiences and activities.

They create opportunities for the students to work collaboratively to solve problems

with authentic task, and to share knowledge impressibility with each other.

Furthermore it serves a motivator for students to engage in the learning materials.

technology in classroom develops students knowledge and raises the level of comfort

and ease on the other hand, the present generation lives in a society that to dependent on

technology.

The youth of today find technology especially computer as means of recreation

and learning tool, a fact that the cannot be debated since of the people of this generation

are exposed to technology to the extend that this almost becomes a part of their way of

life, teachers should find ways of teaching that could get interested to the pupils.
Teachers must constantly adopt their curriculum to the changing nedds of their

students which computer technology can bring about. with the multi-media

technology, teacher are necessarily, student can controlled their own learning at

different level.

Thus, this study set out simple aims which concerned to maximize the

integration of Information communication Technology (ICT) in teaching which is of

great importance to the holistic learning development of the young generation. She

believees that nothing is impossible if all are adopt to help one another to the betterment

of the pupils. To realize a supportive and effective learning environment and to build a

community of globally competitive learners equip the knowledge skills and effort that

can provide something of lasting significant. Pupils of today are quick at using

technology, and tools.

Furthermore,Information and communication technologies (ICT) which include

Internet and other multimedia systems have been taken as potentially and powerful

enabling tools for educational change and reform. When used appropriately, different

ICTs are said to help expand access to education, strengthen the relevance of education

to the increasingly digital workplace and raise educational quality by, among others,

helping make teaching and learning into an engaging, active process connected to real

life. However, the effective integration of ICTs into the educational system is a

complex, multifaceted process that involves not just technology but also curriculum

and pedagogy, Institutional readiness and teacher competencies besides enough initial

capital involved in getting the technology and long-term financial inputs.
