The aim of this book is simply understand the man & how he
mange to change the world (there is more than 1500 million
Muslim all round the world)
Some say that Islam, Mohammed life and principals are

I say if that is right than only Italians should be interesting in
roman impure history & Greeks philosophy is for Greeks
only.
The reason am writing this book is that Mohammed with his
unique experiment mange to convert his followers (some
nomads/ Bedouins) into great impair with lows , principals,
stall living until now in more than 20 country .
I don’t know about you but I think man like that worth
writing & reading about.
Before you continue I like to made clear that this book
doesn't cover all Mohammed life and religion
Its sample biography of the man, Mohammed life story is
vary documentation, there is many books dedicated to small
parts of it.
This tiny book is not meant to be encyclopedia?
Finely English is not my first language so forgave me.

Background

The Arabian Peninsula were Mohammed lived was largely

arid and volcanic, making agriculture difficult except near
oases or springs. Thus the Arabian landscape was dotted with
towns and cities, two prominent of which were Mecca and
Medina.
Communal life was essential for survival in the desert
conditions, as people needed support against the harsh
environment and lifestyle.
The tribal grouping was thus encouraged by the need to act
as a unit. This unity was based on the bond of kinship by
blood.
People of Arabia were either nomadic or sedentary, the
former constantly traveling from one place to another seeking
water and pasture for their flocks, while the latter settled and
focused on trade and agriculture. The survival of nomads (or
Bedouins) was also partially dependent on raiding caravans
or oases; thus they saw this as no crime.
Medina was a large flourishing agricultural settlement, while
Mecca was an important financial center for many of the
surrounding tribes.
In pre-Islamic Arabia gods were viewed as protectors of
individual tribes and their spirits were associated with sacred
trees, stones, springs and wells.
There was an important shrine in Mecca that housed statues
of 360 idols of tribal patron deities and was the site of an
annual pilgrimage.
Aside from these tribal gods, like Lat, Manat and al-Uzza
Some monotheistic communities did also exist in Arabia;
including Christians Jews & Hanifs (the realign of the
prophet Abraham) Mohammed him self was Hanifs believe in
oneness of god
Mohammed lived most of his life in Mecca birth work marred
and declare his prophesy on it.
In this time the world was divided between the 2 great nations
the Roman Empire and the Persia Empire the war between
them was endless.
Away from the important pleases in the old world was this
community Mecca the Arabian city which Mohammed was
birth the city economy depend on tread for Arab annual
pilgrimage to there idols .
Most of Mecca men work in treads besides the grazing.
Slavery was common, whorehouses, killing, stealing, etc
There is no government no lows what do you think this
community was like?
Any way this book is not about the Pre-Islamic Arabia
society.
So let's move on.

Mohammed before PROPHETHOOD

On Monday morning Twenty-second of April, 571

Mohammed was birth ‘Abdul-Muttalib( his grand father)
Called the baby Muhammad, a name not then common
among the Arabs, Mohammed was orphan his father die
months before his birth.
In the age of six his mother also die so his grand father take
care of him until he also passed away
Then Mohammed Uncle Abu Talib took the charge of
Mohammed from he was eight years old.
Despite abu talib low-income he took the charge of his
nephew in the best way
Mohammed worked as a shepherd & at the age of 25, he went
to Syria as a Merchant for Khadijah (great noble women of
Mecca)
She used to employ men to do her Business for a certain
percentage of the profits.
Khadijah was informed of Muhammad kind manners & great
honesty she sent for him. She offered him money to go to
Syria and do her business, & also send her hireling,
Maisarah, with him. When he returned Khadijah noticed in
her money, more profits Her hireling also told her of
Muhammad’s good manners, honesty, deep thought, sincerity
And faith.
She realized that she homed at her target. Many prominent
men had asked for her hand in marriage but she always
spurned their advances. She disclosed her wish to her friend
Nafisa, daughter of Maniya, who immediately went to
Muhammad and tall him with khadijah wish.
Mohammed was happy to accept this proposal & they were
married.
Khadijah was forty years old and was considered as the best
woman of her folk in lineage, Fortune and wisdom. She was
Mohammed first wife marry here in age 25 & He did not get
married to any other until she had died opposite Arab men
habits. Khadijah bore all his children, except Abraham
His children
Al-Qasim, Zainab, Ruqaiyah, Umm Kulthum, Fatimah and
‘Abdullah. All his sons died in their childhood and all the
daughters except Fatimah died during his lifetime. Fatimah
died six months after his death. All his daughters witnessed
Islam, embraced it, and immigrated to Medina.
Mohammed work in trade & when he was nearly forty, he
had been wont to pass long Hours in retirement meditating
and speculating over all aspects of creation around him.
He used to go to cave named Hira’, in the Mount An-Nour. It
was two miles from Mecca, a small cave 4 yards long and 1.75
yard wide.
He used to devote most of his time, and Ramadan in
particular, to worship and meditation on the universe around
him.
There were it all begin.

How it all begins

Here we have to stake to the Muslims story simply because

it’s the only story.
According to this story Mohammed used to spend a lot of
time in the cave of hira as we just mention then one night an
angel come to him Mohammed describe this unexpectedly,
the Truth (the angel) came to him and said, “read.” “I cannot
read,” he [Muhammad] described: “Then he took me and
squeezed me vehemently and then let me go and repeated the
order ‘Read.’‘I cannot read’said I, and once again he
squeezed me and let me till I was exhausted. Then he said:
‘read.’I said' I cannot read.’He squeezed me for a Third
time and then let me go and said:
“Read! In the Name of your Lord, Who has created (all that
exists), has created man from A clot (a piece of thick
coagulated blood). Read! And your Lord is the Most
Generous.’”
[96:1-3]
Mohammed repeated these verses. He was trembling with
fear at this stage,
He came back to his wife Khadijah, and said, “Cover me,
cover me.” They covered him until he Restored security.
He apprised Khadijah of the incident of the cave and added
that he was horrified.
His wife tried to soothe him and reassured him saying, “Allah
will never disgrace you. You unite uterine relations; you bear
the burden of the weak; you help the poor and the needy, you
entertain the guests and endure hardships in the path of
truthfulness.”
She set out with him to her cousin Waraqa bin Nawfal
Who had embraced Christianity in the pre-Islamic period He
was a blind old man.
Khadijah said: “My cousin! Listen to your nephew!”
Waraqa Said: “O my nephew!
What did you see?” Mohammed told him what had
happened to him.
Waraqa replied: “This is ‘Namus’(the angel who is entrusted
with Divine Secrets) That Allah sent to Moses.
I wish I were younger. I wish I could live up to the time when
your people would turn you out.
Muhammad asked: “Will they drive me out?”
Waraqa answered in the affirmative and said: “Anyone who
came with something similar to what You have brought was
treated with hostility
And if I should be alive till that day, then I would
Support you strongly.”
A few days later Waraqa died and the revelation also
subsided.
Ibn Sa’d reported on the authority of Ibn ‘Abbas that the
Revelation paused for a few days.
Mohammed was caught in a sort of depression Al-Bukhari
reported:
the Divine inspiration paused for a while and the Prophet
became so sad, as we have heard, that he intended several
times to throw himself from the tops of high mountains, and
every time he went up the top of a mountain in order to throw
himself down, Gabriel ( the angel ) would appear before him
and say: “0 Muhammad! You are indeed Allah’s Messenger
in truth,” whereupon his heart would become quiet and he
would calm down and return home.
Mohammed was afraid that he is imagining things and he is
mad but after that the revelation started coming strongly,
frequently and regularly.
There the stage of Mecca.

Mohammed in Mecca

Three years of secret Call:

It was very hard for Mohamed to just say that he is a Prophet
of gad
The call to Islam briefly speaking, go as follows:
1. Testimony to the Oneness of Allah.
2. Belief in the Hereafter.
3. Sanctifying one’s soul and elevating it high above evils and
abominations that conduce to terrible consequences, besides
this, there is the dire need for virtues and perfect manners
coupled with habituating oneself to righteous deeds.
4. Committing one’s all affairs to Allah, the All-High.
5. All the foregoing should run as a natural corollary to
unwavering belief in Muhammad’s Message, and abidance
his leadership and guidance.
So it was hard for the people of Mecca to consider this
Mohammed call simply destroying there economy and
relationships with ether trails
Mecca was the centre for the Arabs, and housed the
custodians of AI-Ka’bah. Protection and guardianship of the
idols and stone graven images that received veneration on the
part of all the Arabs lay in the hands of the Mecca's.
Mohammed naturally initiated his sacred mission right from
home and then moved to the people closely associated with
him.
He called unto Islam whomsoever he thought would attest
the truth which had come from his Lord. In fact, a host of
people who nursed not the least seed of doubt as regards him
immediately responded and quite readily embraced Islam.
They are known in the Islamic literature as the early
converts. His wife Khadijah was his first believers then his
freed slave Zaid bin Harithah, his cousin Ali bin Abi Talib,
who had been living with him since his early childhood, and
next came his intimate friend Abu Bakr As-Siddiq.
His freed slave zaid has a strange story he was taking in one
of Arab many wars sold as slave to Mohammed in his
childhood Mohammed love the boy like a son
Years later zaid father come to Mecca & find his son so he
ask Mohammed to sell him his son Mohammed say to him I
don’t want your money but ask your son if he choose to leave
me and go with you take him & if he choose me then I cant
give him to you zaid choose Mohamed the man he know the
most over his real family (that was before Mohammed
declare that he is a Prophet )after that Mohammed freed zaid
and call him his son .
Abu Bakr, and from the first day he embraced Islam proved
to be an energetic He was wealthy, obliging, mild and upright.
People used to frequent his house and draw nigh to him for
his knowledge, amity, pleasant company and business. He
invited whomever he had confidence in to Islam and through
his personal efforts a good number of people converted to
Islam.
Mohammed used to meet and teach, the new converts, the
religion in privacy because the call to Islam was still running
on an individual and secret basis.
After three underground years of activism the time had come
to preach the faith of the Lord openly. The angel Gabriel had
brought him down a further Revelation of Allah's Will to
confront his people, invalidate their falsehood and crush
down their idolatrous practices.
In obedience to Allah's Commands, Muhammad rallied his
kinsmen of Bani Hashim with a group of Bani Al-Muttalib
bin ‘Abd Munaf. The audience counted forty-five men.
Abu Lahab immediately took the initiative and addressed
Mohammed “These are your uncles and cousins, speak on to
the point, but first of all you have got to know that your kin
people are not in a position to withstand all the Arabs.
Another point you have got to bear in mind is that your
relatives are sufficient unto you. If you follow their tradition,
it will be easier for them than to face the other clans of
Qurush supported by the other Arabs. Verily, I have never
heard of anyone who has incurred more harm on his kin
people than you.” Mohammed kept silent and said nothing in
that meeting.
He invited them to another meeting and managed to secure
audience. He then stood up and delivered a short speech
explaining quite cogently what was at stake. He said:
“celebrate Allhs praise, I seek His help, I believe in Him, I put
my trust in Him, I bear witness that there is no god to be
worshipped but Allah with no associate. A guide can never lie
to his people. I swear by Allah, there is no god but He that I
have been sent as a Messenger to you, in particular and to all
the people, in general. I swear by Allah you will die just as
you sleep, you will be resurrected just as you wake up. You
will be called to account for your deeds. It is then either Hell
forever or the Garden (Paradise) forever.”
Abu Talib replied: We love to help you, accept your advice
and believe in your words. These are your kin people whom
you have collected and I am one of them but I am the fastest
to do what you like. Do what you have been ordered. I shall
protect and defend you, but I can't quit the religion of ‘Ab d u
I-MuttaIib.”
Abu Lahab then said to Abu Talib: I swear by Allh that this
is a bad thing. You must stop him before the others do. Abu
Talib, however, answered: “I swear by Allh to protect him as
long as I am alive.”
ON MOUNT AS-SAFA: After Mohammed became sure of
Abu Talib’s commitment to his protection while he called the
people unto Allah, he stood up on Mount As-Safa one day and
called out loudly: “0 Sabahahl * “ some of Qurush came to
him. He called them to testify to the Oneness of Allah and
believe in his Messenger ship and the Day of Resurrection.
Al-Bukhari reported part of this story on the authority of Ibn
‘Abbas. He said:
The Messenger of Allh ascended Mount As-Safa and started
to call: “0 Bani Fahr! 0 Bani ‘Adi (two septs of Qurush)”
Many people gathered and those who couldn't, sent somebody
to report to them. Abu Lahab was also present. The Prophet
said:
“You see, if I were to tell you that there were some horsemen
in the valley planning to raid you, will you believe me?” They
said: “Yes, we have never experienced any lie from you.” He
said: “am a Warner to you before a severe torment.” Abu
Lahab promptly replied: “Perish you all the day! Have you
summoned us for such a thing?”
This words was just the begging of war
The torturing of Moslems begin most of Moslems were poor
or slaves.
Some of people of Qurush think of killing Mohammed but
they afraid of his family revenge.
Abu Bakr and the rich Moslems spend most of there wealth
freeing Moslems selves
Abu Lahab, shadow Mohammed steps crying aloud, “Omen,
do not listen to him for he is a liar; he is an apostate.
The series of persecutions started late in the fourth year of
Prophet hood, slowly at first, but steadily accelerated and
worsened day by day and month by month until the situation
got so extremely grave and no longer tolerable in the middle
of the fifth year, that the Muslims began to seriously think of
feasible ways liable to avert the painful tortures meted out to
them after killing some of them ( first Muslims mortal was
somua the wife of yasser ubn aluakzan than he also dead by
torturing)
At last some of the Muslims decided to go to another country
in order to live in peace.
The Muslims asked Mohammed to allow them to leave
Mecca. He agreed, saying 'It would be better for you to go to
Abyssinia.
The king there is a just man and it is a friendly country. Stay
there until Allah makes it possible for you to return.
The Muslims prepared for the journey.
They decided to wait until night so that they could leave
without being seen. The first sixteen left Mecca and, after
reaching the shore of the Red Sea, crossed over to Abyssinia.
Another eighty-three men and nineteen women followed,
This was the first migration, in Islam.
When Mecca's discovered that these Muslims had secretly left
the city they were furious there anger was bigger when they
found out that the Muslims had been warmly welcomed in
Abyssinia. The leaders of Qurush decided to send two men to
the Abyssinian king in hopes of persuading him to send the
Muslims back.
They think (smart thinking) that if Islam find way out will be
impossible to contain.
They sent 'Amr ibn al-'As, a very clever speaker, and ‘Abd
Allah ibn abi Rabi’ah. Before they met this king, they gave
each of his advisers a gift to help them in there mission.
Then they went to the king and presented him also with a gift,
saying:
'Your Highness, these people have abandoned the religion we
have always followed in Mecca, but they have not even
become Christians like you.' The royal advisers, who were
also present, told the king that the Mecca's had spoken the
truth and that he should send the Muslims back to their own
people. At this, the king became angry and said, 'No, by God,
I will not give them up. Those who have come to ask for my
protection, settled in my country, and chosen me rather than
others, shall not be betrayed. I will summon them and ask
them about what these two men have said. If the Muslims are
as the Mecca's say, I will give them up and send them back to
their own people,
Than king then sent for the Muslims & asked them to tell him
about their religion.
Ja'far ibn abi Talib, Ali's brother and a cousin of Mohammed
was chosen to speak for the Muslims.
He replied, '0 King, at first we were among the ignorant. We
and our ancestors had turned from the faith of Abraham,
who, with Ishmael, rebuilt the Ka’bah and worshipped only
Allah. We used idols in our worship of Allah; we ate meat
that had not been killed in the right way; we did not respect
the rights of our neighbors; the strong took advantage of the
weak. We did terrible things of which I dare not speak.
This was our life until Allah sent a Messenger from among us,
one of our relatives, whom we have always known to be
honest, innocent, and faithful. He asked us to worship only
Allah, and to give up the bad customs of our forefathers. He
asked us to be truthful and trustworthy, to respect and help
our neighbors, to honor our families, and to put a stop to our
bad deeds and endless fighting. He asked us to look after
orphans. He ordered us not to slander or speak evil of women
or men.
He ordered us to worship Allah alone and not to worship
anyone or anything else alongside Him. He ordered us to
pray, to give alms, and to fast. We believe he is right and
therefore we follow him and do as he has commanded us.
The Mecca's began to attack us and come between us and our
religion. So we had to leave our homes and we have come to
you, hoping to find justice.'
‘Amr said to the king, 'these people do not believe in Jesus in
the same way as you'
The king then wanted to know what Mohammed had said
about Jesus.
Ja'far replied by reciting a Surah from the Koran which tells
the story of Jesus and his mother Mary. These are a few of
the lines he recited:
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
“And make mention of Mary in the Scripture, when she had
Withdrawn from her people to an eastern place, and had
chosen seclusion from them. Then we sent unto her our spirit
and it assumed for her the likeness of a perfect man. She said:
Lo! I seek refuge in the Beneficent One from thee, if Thou
fairest God. He said: I am only a messenger of thy Lord that I
may bestow on thee a faultless son. She said: How can I have
a son when no mortal hath touched me, neither have I been
unchaste? He said: 'Even so thy Lord saith: It is easy for me.
And (it will be) that we may make of him revelation for
mankind and a mercy from us, and it is a thing ordained. And
she conceived him, and she withdrew with him to a far place.
Then she brought him to her own folk, carrying him. They
said: O Mary! Thou hast come with a monstrous thing. Oh
sister of Aaron! Thy father was not a wicked man nor was thy
mother a harlot. Then Mary pointed to the child (Jesus); But
they said, 'How can we speak to one who is still in the cradle,
a young child?' He said, 'Lo, I am Allah's servant; He has
given me the Book, and made me a Prophet. He has made me
Blessed, where so ever I may be; and He has enjoined me to
pray, and to give alms, so long as I live, and likewise to
cherish my mother; he has not made me arrogant, un blest
Peace be upon me, the day I was born, and the day I die, and
the day I am raised up alive!” (Koran xix: 16-33)
When the king heard this, his eyes filled with tears. Turning
to his advisers, he said, 'These words have surely come from
God;
Muslims were given the king's permission to live peacefully in
his country. 'Amr was given back the gift he had presented to
the king and the two Mecca's returned home bitterly
disappointed.
Later one of the most courage & nobles of Mecca men join
Islam Umar ibn al-Khattab .
'Umar, was very courageous. As soon as he had declared his
faith, he went directly to the Ka'bah and in broad daylight
pray like Muslims before the astonished people of Mecca. No
one dared to say anything. But now the leaders of Qurush
became even more alarmed and began to see Islam as a threat
to the whole life of the city.
Mecca was begin to divided
They offer Mohammed what no one could refuse we would
make you king and collect money from all of us to make you
the riches man among us just stop what you do
Mohammed refuses insisting that he is messenger of god
They grew more and more furious as the numbers of Muslims
increased until finally they, decided that Mohammed would
have to be killed.
On hearing of these plans, Abu Talib, Mohammed uncle,
immediately sent a message to all the sons of 'Abd al-
Muttalib, asking them to protect their nephew, and this they
agreed to do. When Qurush realized that they could not kill
the Prophet because of this protection, they decided instead to
avoid him and his followers completely.
A declaration to this effect was hung at the Ka’bah. It stated
that no one in the city was allowed to have anything to do
with the Mohammed and his people, or even to sell them any
food or drink whatsoever (the siege).
Muslims tried to buy supplies from a caravan passing near to
Mecca, Abu Lahab, one of the Muslims' worst enemies,
offered ten times the price of the goods to the merchant. By
doing this he managed to stop the Muslims, from buying what
they desperately needed.
The strange thing in this ordeal is Islam grew stronger.
Each year at the time of the pilgrimage to Mecca, people
come from all over Arabia. These pilgrims saw the terrible
cruelty and injustice of Qurush towards the Muslims, and
many of them were sorry for Mohammed followers. Qurush
began to feel ashamed of their harsh treatment, especially as
many of the Muslims were their cousins and close relatives.
Finally, at the end of three years, they were convinced that
the time had come to put an end to the persecution of the
Muslims, and they decided to takedown the notice hanging at
the Ka’bah. To their astonishment, the sheet of paper had
been completely eaten up by worms, all except the words, 'In
Your Name, O Allah', which had been written at the top of
the paper.
Than Mohammed and his followers went back to a normal
way of life
But things get harder on Mohammed and his followers later
It was 619 A.D., when Khadijah died Mohammed lost his
beloved wife and friend, the first person to accept Islam and
support him.
Soon after this, Muhammad's uncle and protector, Abu Talib,
also died.
Abu Talib had been one of the most respected men in Mecca-
one of the elders of Qurush. Even though he had never been a
follower of Islam, he had protected Mohammed against his
enemies. Not only was this a sad occasion for the Prophet but
also a dangerous one. According to Arab custom anyone who
is under the protection of another is safe so long as his
protector lives. Now, with the death of his uncle, Mohammed
protection was gone.
Mohammed and his followers call this year the Year of
Sorrow
His enemies began to treat him worse than ever before. Even
small children insulted him. Ones young man threw some
filth on his head; Mohammed went home without making
anything of it. When one of his daughters rushed, weeping, to
wash it away, he comforted her saying, 'Do not weep my little
girl, for Allah will protect your father.'
Mohammed felt that Islam could make no further progress in
Mecca because the hearts of Qurush were closed against him.
He decided, therefore, to travel to Ta'if where he hoped to
find support. He walked all the way to the town, which was
seventy kilometers away. There he spoke in all the places
where people gathered, but no one listened to him. He met the
leaders of the three most important tribes but they would not
listen either. Not only did they take no notice of what he said,
but they laughed at him and ordered their slaves to insult him
and pelt him with stones.
Mohammed sadly walked back to Mecca.
The Night Journey and the Ascent to Heaven
(Al-Isra’and Al-Mir‘raj )
One morning Mohammed told Qurush that last night he &
the Archangel Gabriel at his side, was transported from
Mecca to the mosque called al-Aqsa, in far away Jerusalem.
There he found Abraham, Moses, and Jesus among a group
of Prophets. And he acted as their leader, or imam, in prayer.
Than they passed through Heaven's gates then he was taken
into the Light of the Divine Presence of Allah, and was
instructed that Muslims should pray.
(The story is big so I abridge it)
Most of Qurush said, 'By God! This is ridiculous! A caravan
takes a month to go to Syria and a month to return! Can you
do that long journey in a single night?' Even many Muslims
were amazed by this and wanted to there Prophet to explain.
Some ran with the news to Abu Bakr who said, 'By Allah, if
Muhammad himself has said so, then it is true. Remember,
the Prophet tells us that the word of Allah comes to him
directly from heaven to earth at any hour by day or night,
and we believe him Isn't that a greater miracle than what you
are now doubting?'
Then Abu Bakr went to Mohammed and listened to his
detailed description of Jerusalem. He commented, 'You tell
the truth, 0 Prophet of Allah!' From then on, Abu Bakr was
honored with the title 'al-Siddiq’, which means 'he who gives
his word to support the truth'. Others also began to believe
the Prophet's story when he went on to describe two caravans
he had seen on his way back to Mecca. He told the doubters
where he had seen the caravans, what they were carrying and
when they would arrive in Mecca. All that Mohammed had
said was born out when the caravans arrived at the time he
said they would, carrying all that he had described.
In Yathrib there were two main tribes, the Aws and the
Khazraj.
Both were very powerful, they were always at war with one
another, and both worshipped idols. Also in Yathrib were
many Jews who, unlike the Arab at that time, knew that there
was only One God, and worshipped Him.
In the time of pilgrimage six men from the city of Yathrib
Met Mohammed
They met him at a spot known as ‘Aqabah, near Mecca, He
explained to them what Islam meant recited to them from the
Koran they became Muslims and on leaving Mecca they
promised to return the following year. When they reached
Yathrib carrying Islam in their hearts, they told their
relatives and friends what they had heard from the Prophet
and many more people became Muslims.
Next year twelve important men from Yathrib went to Mecca
to meet the Prophet and promised faithfully to serve him and
Islam. In return, the Prophet sent one of his friends, Mus’ab
ibn 'Umayr, with them to teach the Koran and instruct them
in their new religion.
Next year a secret meeting with Mohammed was arranged to
be held at night. Seventy-three men and one woman from
Yathrib came, and Mohammed arrived with his uncle, al-
‘Abbas. During this meeting the men from Yathrib offered to
protect and defend the Prophet and his followers if they
would come to live in Yathrib. This promise of protection
came to be known as the Treaty of ‘Aqabah.
Mohammed told his friends and followers to go to Yathrib
where they would be safe and most of them took this
opportunity to leave.
Seeing that the Muslims were leaving the city the unbelievers
decided to kill Mohammed
Before he, left Mecca to join his followers in Yathrib. In this
way they hoped to put an end to Islam once and for all.
But Mohammed mange to escape (another big story)
Here a new chapter of Mohammed story begins.

The city of Mohammed

What city this was?

Yathrib was large agricultural oasis most of her inhabitants
were farmers there was two great tribes ous and kazrag plus
some tribes of Jews.
The war in this city was endless between all the tribes
especially between ous and kazrag.
Mohammed journey from Mecca is called the hijrah, or
migration. It was really the first step towards the spread of
Islam throughout the entire world, and Muslims begin their
calendar from the year of the hijrah.
Mohammed arrive Yathrib in Monday, September 27, in the
year 622 A.D.,
Later Mohammed change the name of the city from yathrib
(city of illness) to al Medina (the city)
He find great reception All the Muslims went out to greet
him, shouting, “Allahu Akbar”! Allah is great! Muhammad
the Messenger of Allah has arrived!' The women and children
sang songs to show how glad they were to see him. Most of
The people there had not seen him before but most of the city
inhabitants believe in him & his massage.
Mohammed stayed in Quba', which is a place at the entrance
of Medina, for three days. On the first Friday after his arrival
the Prophet led the congregation in prayer. After this many
of the wealthiest men invited him to come and live with them
and share their riches. But he refused and, pointing to his
she-camel, Qaswa', said, 'Let her go her way?
They let the camel go until she finally knelt down beside a
house belonging to the Bani an-Najjar, the tribe to whom
Mohammed's mother was related.
This house was used as a drying-place for dates and belonged
to two young orphan boys. They offered to give it to the
Prophet but he insisted on paying them for it, and so their
guardian, As’ad the son of Zurarah, who was present, made
the necessary arrangements.
Mohammed decided that a mosque and a place for him to live
be built on the site. All the Muslims worked together to finish
it quickly-even him joined in.
It was here that the Muslims would pray and meet to make
important decisions and plans.
The building was quite plain and simple. The floor was
beaten earth and the roof of palm leaves was held up by tree
trunks. Two Stones marked the direction of prayer. At first
worshippers faced Jerusalem, but Soon after the direction of
prayer was changed towards the Ka’bah in Mecca.
After building the mosque, Mohammed wanted to strengthen
the relationship between the people called the Muhajirah or
Emigrants, who had left Mecca with him, and the people of
Medina, who were known as the Ansar, or Helpers.
Mohammed told Each man from Medina took as his brother
a man from Mecca, sharing everything with him and treating
him as a member of his own family.
(If my dear father told me to give my dear brother half of my
money " will you think about it)
Mohammed also mad treaty with Jews tribes
The Muslims, who had gone to Medina, had left all their
belongings behind in Mecca and these had been taken by
their enemies. Thus, when the Muslims heard that Abu
Sufyan, one of the leaders of Qurush, was on his way back to
Mecca from Syria with a large caravan of goods, they decided
to raid this caravan to retrieve some of their losses.
Mohammed gave the Muslims permission for this attack
But Abu Sufyan hade been informed about the Muslims' plan
and quickly sent a message to Qurush in Mecca, asking for
help.
Thousand men came out to help him defend the caravan.
Unaware of this, the Mohammed set out with his followers. It
was the month of Ramadan and the Muslims were fasting.
There were only three hundred and five of them,
They arrived in the mountain of Badr, some distance from
Medina where they camp and waited for the caravan. Then
they heard that Qurush had set out from Mecca with a big
army.
Mohammed gathered his men asking what they wanted to do.
Abu Bakr, and ‘Umar, spoke on behalf of the Muslims of
Mecca
They said they would obey the Prophet But Mohammed
wanted to hear the opinion of the Ansar, because he did not
want to force them into doing something they did not agree
with him to do. Sa’d Ibn Mu’adh, one of the leaders of the
Ansar, got up and said, we believe in you and we swear before
all men that what you have brought is the truth. We have
given you our word and agreement to hear and obey. So go
where you wish, we are with you even if you should lead us
into the sea!
Mohammed was so happy to hear this and encouraged to
fight
Meanwhile Abu Sufyan changed the course of the caravan
and quickly took it out of Muslims reach. He then sent word
to Qurush telling them that the caravan was safe and that
they should return to Mecca. But the leaders of Qurush
refused to return as they had made up their minds to show
everyone how powerful they were by destroying the Muslims.
On the morning of Friday, the 17th of Ramadan, 2 A.H.,
(March 17th, AD), the two armies advanced and drew closer
to one another.
Mohammed preferred the men to fight in ranks. As they
prepared to march he noticed someone had stepped out in
front of the others. Mohammed prodded him in the side with
piece of wood, saying, 'Stand in line!' The man, named
Sawad, exclaimed, 'You have hurt me, O Messenger of Allah!
Allah has sent you to be just and good.' Mohammed lifted his
shirt and said, 'Then does the same to me. The man
approached and kissed him on the spot instead, saying, '0
Messenger of Allah, you see what is before us and I may not
survive the battle. If this is my last time with you, I want the
last thing I do in life to be this.' Shortly after he went into
battle, Sawad get killed
And the battle begins and even though the Muslims were
much fewer in number, they gained a great victory, defeating
Mecca army and killing most of its leaders. Among the
leading Mecca's who died were Abu Jahl and Umayyah ibn
Khalaf, who was killed by his former slave, Bilal. Seeing that
their leaders were nearly all dead, the remainder of Qurush
retreated.
The battle ended with killing 70 man of Mecca army and take
prisoner 74 of them
14 Muslims also killed.
Mohammed consults his man about the prisoners most of
them think to kill them all because if they left them they will
fight them again.
Mohammed refuses this and decides that who know how to
read & write of the prisoners will set free if he learns 10 kids.
And who is illiteracy should pay ransom for his freedom or
to agree to never fight the Muslims again.
But this wasn't the end of it
The survivors of the defeated Qurush army at Badr gathered
in Mecca decided to fight Mohammed again In order to do
this it was agreed that everyone who had had a share in the
caravan should put his profits towards the cost of a new
army, which would be three times as big as the one at Badr.
When Mohammed knows of this plans he gathered his
companions to discuss what they should do. He thought it
would be better to wait for the enemy inside city rather than
go out to meet them, because it would be easier to defend
Medina from inside the city walls. But the young Muslims
were going out and face Quash. They said, '0 Prophet of
Allah, lead us out against our enemies, or else they will think
we are too cowardly and too weak to fight them. Those were
the majority so Mohammed agree to there opinion
The Muslims was seven hundred men to meet Mecca army,
which numbered three thousand.
When Muslims reached the mountain of Uhud Mohammed
ordered them to stand in ranks in front of the mountain, so
that they would be protected from behind. He then positioned
fifty archers on top of the mountain, giving them the
following order: 'Keep the Mecca cavalry away from us with
your arrows and don't let them come against us from the
rear, whether the battle goes in our favor or against us.
Whatever happens keep to your places so that we cannot be
attacked from your direction, even if you see us being slain or
booty being taken?
And the battle begins The Quash warriors were soon forced
to retreat. It looked as though they had been defeated! Seeing
this, forty of the fifty Muslims archers on top of the mountain
ran down from their position to collect booty, for the Quash
army had left many of their belongings behind. The archers
rushed to take what they could, forgetting Mohammed
orders.
Khalid Ibn al-Walid, Commander of the Qurush cavalry, saw
what' happening and quickly turned his men around and
ordered them to attack the Muslims from behind. The
Muslims were taken by surprise. The Quash army then began
attacking from both sides at once .Many Muslims were killed
it was rumored that Mohammed him self had killed. When
the Muslims heard this they were at a loss to know what to
do.
Many of them escape back to medina.
But Mohammed stands there shouting "am Mohammed the
messenger of god"
Around him 14 men and 1 woman stand defending him
against the Qurush army
Until the Muslims begin to gather again.
The battle end and Quash were at last avenged.
74 Muslims get killed this day there bodes deformity badly by
Qurush army there ears and noses were cut off used in
making collars and bracelets.
The affect of the lost was huge Mohammed him self was
wended badly lost a lot of his faithful men his city become
weak Arab tribe begin to attack the city borders .
People begin to question is he really a Prophet?
The Jews tribe in the city begin to reconsider there
agreements with Mohammed
Watch include that in the case of war the Jews would fight on
the side of the Muslims.
Some how Mohammed mange to overcome all this
His believers were increases and become more attach to him
follow his orders exactly.
When some night Mohammed told his followers that god
forbid wine drinking or selling it next morning the roads of
the city flowed with spilled wine
No one drank or sell wine of the Muslims any more.
(Quit drinking in one day? That is really some thing)
The Battle of the Trench February 627
The Muslims know that The leader of Qurush Abu Sufyan
was coming to attack them with an enormous army which
included many other Arab tribes, as well as Qurush.
Thos tribes decided that the time is come to put an end of
Islam spreading
Mohammed gathered his men to discuss a plan of action
against the approaching enemy, a man named Salman was
present and it was he who suggested that they should dig a
trench around the city. Mohammed thought this a good idea,
so the Muslims set to work, although it was in the middle of
winter. They worked day and night, digging the trench as
quickly as possible. Mohammed himself carried rocks and
when the men were tired he gave them the will to carry on. By
the way Mohammed told his followers in this time that they
will defeat the empire of Persia& the empire of Romans.
Wheel they were digging the trench?
On March 24, 627 A.D, Abu Sufyan arrived with more than
ten thousand men. The Muslims numbered only three
thousand. Quash and their allies surrounded Medina but
between the two armies were the long, wide trench.
The idolaters were surprised to see a Wide trench, a new
stratagem unknown in Arabia before,
All of there desperate attempts failed due to Muslims’
steadfastness and heroic
But the chief of Bani Nadir, Huyai, headed for the habitations
of Banu Quraiza (Jews tribe in medina) to incite their chief
Ka‘b bin Asad Al-Qurazi, who had drawn a pact with
Mohammed to run to his aid in times of war.
Ka‘b, in the beginning Resisted all Huyai’s temptation, but
Huyai was clever enough to manipulate him, speaking of
Qurush
Mind determined to exterminate Muhammad and his
followers. He, moreover, promised to stay in Ka‘b’s fort
exposing himself to any potential danger in case Qurush
Recanted. The wicked man went on in this manner until he
later managed to win Ka‘b to his side and Persuade him to
break his covenant with the Muslims.
The Muslims were in critical position & horrible danger
Their back was vulnerable to the attacks of Banu Quraiza,
and a huge army with no way to connive at in front,
A man from the tribe of Ghatfan called Na‘im bin Mas‘ud
asked to be admitted in the audience of Mohammed. He
declared that he had embraced Islam secretly and asked
Mohammed to order him do anything that might benefit the
Muslims. Mohammed asked him to do anything that could
help the Muslims in the present distress and use any
stratagem of avail. The man, in a shuttle movement, between
the Jews, Qurush and Ghatfan managed to incite each party
to let down the other. He went to see the chiefs of Banu
Quraiza and whispered in their ears not to trust Qurush nor
fight with them unless the latter pledged some hostages. He
tried to lend support to his counsel by claiming that
Qurush would forsake them if they perceived that victory
over Muhammad was far fetched, and the Muslims then
would have terrible revenge on them .Na‘im, then headed for
the camp of Qurush and managed to practice a similar
stratagem in its final result but different in content. He
claimed that he felt that the Jews regretted breaching their
covenant with Muhammad and his followers. He told them
that the Jews maintained regular correspondence with the
Muslims to the effect that Qurush hostages be sent to the
camp of the Muslims with full Jewish allegiance paid to them
as already agreed upon. Na‘im
Then exhorted Qurush not to send hostages to the Jews On a
third errand, he did the same with the people of Ghatfan
On Saturday night, both Qurush and Ghatfan dispatched
envoys to the Jews exhorting them to go into war against
Muhammad.
The Jews sent back Messages that they would not fight on
Saturday.
They added that they needed hostages from them to
guarantee their consistency.
On receiving the replies, Qurush and Ghatfan came to believe
Na‘im’s words fully.
Therefore, they sent a message to the Jews again inviting
them to war and asking them to preclude that condition of
hostages.
Na‘im’s scheme proved successful, and a state of distrust and
suspicion among the disbelieving allies prevailed and reduced
their morale to deplorable degree
The invading of the city was filed& the siege of Median had
ended.
Peace had been restored to Medina.
The Treaty of Hudaybiyah
After the annual fast of Ramadan, Mohammed told the
Muslims that he had a dream, which indicated that the
Muslims should go to Mecca for the pilgrimage. One
thousand and four hundred Muslims got ready to go with him
on the Lesser Pilgrimage called 'the `Umra'. They dressed in
white and went unarmed to show Qurush that they had come
to make the pilgrimage and not to fight.
When Mohammed was on his way, Quash sent troops to stop
the Muslims from entering the city.
Mohammed avoids them and camp in pleas named '
Hudaybiyah,
Then he sent to Qurush to tell them that the Muslims had
come only for the pilgrimage, to worship Allah at the Holy
Ka'bah, and that they wanted to enter the city peacefully.
Then he sent his son-in-law, 'Uthman Ibn Affan, a wise and
respected man from both sides, but Uthman late rumors come
that he has been killed.
Hearing this Mohammed gathered the Muslims under an
acacia tree and asked them to swear to fight if uthman was
really killed, which they did. This pact, which is mentioned in
the Koran, became known as the Treaty of Radwan (which
means Paradise).
Shortly after, Uthman Ibn Affan returned and the Muslims
were relieved to see that no harm had come to him.
Some Mecca warriors tried to attack the Muslim camp but
they were captured and brought to Mohammed who forgave
them when they promise to stop attacking the Muslims. Soon
after this, official messengers came from Qurush and talks
began for a peaceful settlement.
Suhayl ibn 'Amr was sent by the Mecca's to work out a
treaty.
When Mohammed asked 'Ali to write 'In the Name of Allah,
the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful', on the top of the page,
Suhayl objected, saying 'Write only: bismik Allahumma (in
Thy name of God). I don't know him as al-Rahman (the Most
Gracious), al-Rahim (the most Merciful).' Mohammed agreed
and dictated: 'This is a treaty between Muhammad the
Messenger of Allah and Suhayl ibn 'Amr.
Suhayl, say: I don't believe that you are the Messenger of
Allah.
If I thought you were Allah's Messenger I wouldn't be
fighting against you, would I?
Mohammed agreed that he should be referred to in the treaty
as Muhammad', son of 'Abd Allah.
In this treaty the two sides agreed to stop fighting for a period
of ten years.
It was also agreed that the Muslims should go back to
Median immediately but that they could return the following
year for the pilgrimage.
This pilgrimage would last three days no more.
In addition, the treaty allowed Muslims wishing to leave
Islam and return to Mecca to do so but it also permitted
Mecca's to leave and join Mohammed in his city. And The
Muslims must send any Mecca's come to them back.
Mohammed agree in this And the Treaty of Hudaybiyah was
signed.
Muslims were very disappointed some was furiously the
terms of the agreement was hard to accept.
But Mohammed thought that 10 years of peace will make
great result helping Muslims becoming stronger and more
respected throughout Arabia.
Most of those who left Mecca to join Mohammed don't to
medina but lived instead in groups along the seashore. Then
they were joined by others who had left Mecca but these
groups began to endanger Quash caravans which were
passing by Qurush told the Mohammed that he can take these
new Muslims, they would not ask for them to be returned.
Numbers of believers in Medina had doubled some of Arab
tribes begin to join Islam soon Khalid Ibn al-Walid, the great
warrior who had defeated the Muslims at Uhud and Amr Ibn
al-'As, the clever speaker who had pursued the Muslims when
they fled to Abyssinia both come to Mohammed and join him
Mohammed also begins to send messengers to the kings
beyond Arabia calling them to Islam.
To Negus, king of Abyssinia' Muqawqas, vicegerent of Egypt
' Chosroes, Emperor of Persia' Hercules impure of Rome'
Mundhir bin Sawa, Governor of Bahrain' Haudha bin ‘Ali,
Governor of Yamama' the King of ‘Oman, Jaifer, and his
Brother ‘Abd Al-Jalandi'
The positive result was: Mundhir bin Sawa, Governor of
Bahrain& Haudha bin ‘Ali, Governor of Yamama' &the
King of ‘Oman, Jaifer, and his Brother ‘Abd Al-Jalandi
become Muslims.
In the ether hand one of Mohammed messengers 'Umair Al-
Azdi on an errand to carry a letter to the ruler of Busra. On
his way,
He was intercepted by Sharhabeel bin 'Amr Al-Ghassani, the
governor of Al-Balqa' and a close ally to Caesar, the roman
Emperor. Al-Harith was tied and beheaded
By Al-Ghassani.
Mohammed was shocked on hearing the news and ordered
that army of 3000 men be mobilized and dispatched to the
north to discipline the transgressors.
Zaid bin Haritha was appointed to lead the army. Ja'far bin
Abi Talib would replace him if he was killed, and 'Abdullah
bin Rawaha would succeed Ja'far in case the latter fell. A
white banner was raised and handed over to Zaid.
But when Muslims arrived there destination they find two
hundred thousand solder witting for them Heracles had
mobilized a hundred thousand troops together with
Another hundred thousand men of Lakham, Judham and
Balqain (Arabian tribes allied to the Romans).
The aim was to destroy the rising Muslims forces & give them
painful lesson.
Muslims debating these unfavorable conditions
Some suggested that they should write a letter to Mohammed
seeking his advice
. 'Abdullah bin Rawaha was opposed to them being reluctant
and addressed the Muslims saying:
"I swear by Allah that this very object which you hold in
abhorrence is the very one you have set out seeking,
martyrdom. In our fight we don't count on number of
soldiers or equipment but rather on the Faith that Allah has
honored us with. Dart to win either of the two victories or
martyrdom."
Fighting started between the two parties,
Soon the 3 leaders of Muslims army were killed after showing
great heroism and bravery.
Than Muslims choose Khalid bin Al-Waleed as there new
leader.
Khalid with great skills reshuffled the right and left flanks of
the Muslim army and introduced forward a division from the
rear deluding Romans that fresh reinforcements had arrived.
Khalid plan work and he mange to well-planned withdrawal
his army wheel the Romans was waiting to know how many
reinforcements had arrived to Muslims army this was just
the begging of long bitter struggle between Muslims and
roman ended after more than 800 year by ending the Eastern
Roman Empire on the hand of "Mohammed al fatih
The Conquest of Mecca
The ten-year peace was to be broken by Qurush who, with
their allies, the Bani Bakr, attacked the Khuza’ah tribe.
Khuza’ah was allies of the Muslims and partners in the
Treaty of Hudaybiyah.
When the people of Khuza’ah told Mohammed about the
attack he immediately ordered his men to prepare for war.
When they were ready he told them that their destination was
Mecca.
Mohammed who escape from Mecca with one man return 8
years later with Muslim army of ten thousand,
Mohammed did not want any fighting within the walls of the
city, so his plan was to move quickly and take the enemy by
surprise. In this way the Mecca's would not have time to
prepare for war and, being surrounded would have to
surrender.
Mohammed orders his army to comp out side Mecca.
Soon he meet Abu Sufyan the leader of Mecca told him to tell
the people of Mecca that the Muslims would enter the city
the next morning.
And assure the Mecca's that those who remained in their own
homes or at the Ka’bah would be safe.
Early next day, the Muslims entered Mecca from all sides.
They had been ordered to cause no harm unless anyone tried
to stop them entering.
When Mohammed arrive he perform prays.
Knowing that Mohammed had come in peace People began
leaving their homes and running towards the Ka’bah.
When Mohammed had finished his prays he said,
'There no divinity except Allah and He has no partner.
Men and women of Qurush be not proud for all are equal; we
are all the sons of Adam, and Adam was made of dust.' Then
he recited this verse to them:
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
“O mankind! Lo! We have created you male and female, and
have made you nations and tribes so you may know each
another. Surely the noblest of you, in the sight of Allah, is the
best in conduct. Lo! Allah is All-knowing, All-aware”. (Koran
xlix.13)
After this he said to them: 'O Qurush, what do you think I am
going to do to you?
'The people thought carefully before answering because they
knew that according to the laws of war they could all be taken
prisoner.
Some replied, ‘you will treat us as a kind nephew and a
generous brother would.'
Mohammed replied 'God forgives you and He is the Most
Merciful of the merciful. Go your way, for you are freed
He then turned to the Ka'bah and, orders his men to destroy
the three hundred and sixty-five idols on it.
People of Mecca begin to professed Islam after seeing the
idols destroying realizing how foolish they were warship those
stones.
Then Mohammed ordered Bilal to climb on top of it and
perform the call to prayer. Since then the call to prayer has
been heard five times a day in Mecca.
Islam was entering new stage people were professed Islam in
thousands.
Men of all Arab tribes came to Mohammed to join his
religion
But south of Mecca a strong tribe called Hawazin see great
danger in this
So they decided to attack Mecca before Muslims could
spread their religion throughout Arabia.
Malik Ibn ‘Awf, was chosen as the leader of Hawazin and
there allays.
He put forward brave plan: he told his army 'You should all
go out to battle accompanied by your families, your sons,
your tents, your sheep and goats, for with all your belongings
at stake, none of you will dare give up the fight.'
Mohammed heard what the enemy tribes were planning; he
decided not to wait for them and ordered his army towards
Ta’if. He had twelve thousand men (his army increased two
thousand men in few days)
In there way Hawazin ambushed them in Hunayn path, a
narrow way in the rugged mountains Hawazin warriors had
already climbed up the mountain and were waiting for them.
As soon as all the Muslims were trapped in the narrow
passage-way below, the Hawazin threw rocks down upon
them and then attacked with arrows.
In surprise and fear, the Muslims started to retreat.
Mohammed was bitterly disappointed.
But he stayed firmly in his place with Abu Bakr, 'Ali, his
uncle al-‘Abbas, and a few companions at his side.
Al-'Abbas then called to the Muslims to return and not to
abandon the Prophet Ashamed at what they had done, and
seeing Mohammed facing the enemy almost alone, the
Muslims quickly returned to fight.
Soon the battle was over Muslims won hawazin army fled,
leaving their families and possessions to be captured.
Mohammed freed all the captured (almost six thousand)
Most of them become Muslims later.
Soon Mohammed returns to the medina.
When he heard that Eastern Roman Empire preparing to
attack him he call his men tell them what he heard and
decided that it would be better to meet the Roman army in
Tabuk, some 500 kilometers form Medina on the route to
Syria, than to await an attack on Medina.
30 thousand men come out with him it was scary idea to fight
the Romans big test Muslims didn't disappoint Mohammed
on it.
Any way when Mohammed and his army arrived at the oasis
of Tabuk waited at the oasis for a 20 days but when it became
apparent that the Romans were not going to fight, he gave the
order to return home.
The Farewell Pilgrimage
Mohammed had become the most powerful leader in the
whole of Arabia. After the idols in the Ka'bah had been
smashed and Qurush had become Muslim, most of the other
tribes of Arabia came to declare their Islam. As each tribe
joined Islam, Muhammad sent his men to teach them about
their new religion.
When the time came for the yearly pilgrimage Mohammed
want to Mecca with his family and friends and so many
Muslims also go.
In the end of pilgrimage Mohammed went down the valley
where a hundred thousand and twenty-four or forty-four
thousand people gathered round him.
There he stood up and delivered the following speech:
“O people! Listen to what I say. I do not know whether I will
ever meet you at this place once again after this current year.
It is unlawful for you to shed the blood of one another or take
(unlawfully) the fortunes of one another.
They are as unlawful, (Hiram) as shedding blood on such a
day as today and in such a month as this (Hiram) month and
in such a sanctified city as this sacred city.
“Behold! All practices of paganism and ignorance are now
under my feet.
The blood-revenge of the Days of Ignorance (pre-Islamic
time) are remitted.
The first claim on blood I abolish is that of Ibn Rabi‘a bin
Harith who was nursed in the tribe of Sa‘d and whom
Hudhail killed.
Usury is forbidden, and I make a beginning by remitting the
amount of interest which ‘Abbas bin ‘Abdul Muttalib has to
receive. Verily, it is remitted entirely.”
“O people! Fear Allah concerning women. Verily you have
taken them on the security of Allah and have made their
persons lawful unto you by Words of Allah! It is incumbent
upon them to honor their conjugal rights and, not to commit
acts of impropriety which, if they do, you have authority to
chastise them, yet not severely. If your wives refrain from
impropriety and are faithful to you, clothe and feed them
suitably.”
Verily, I have left amongst you the Book of Allah and the
Sunna (Traditions) of His Messenger
Which if you hold fast, you shall never go astray.”
“O people, I am not succeeded by a Prophet and you are not
succeeded by any nation. So I recommend you to worship
your Lord, to pray the five prayers, to fast Ramadan and to
offer the Zakat (poor-due) of your provision willingly. I
recommend you to do the pilgrimage to the Sacred House of
your Lord and to obey those who are in charge of you then
you will be awarded to enter the Paradise of your Lord.”
“And if you were asked about me, what wanted you to say?”
They replied:
· “We bear witness that you have conveyed the message and
discharged your ministry.”
He then raised his fore skywards and then moved it down
towards people while saying:
“O Allah, Bear witness.”
Shortly after his return to Medina, Mohammed gets sick for
few days and dies
He dies wheel his armor was pawning for some flour he left
nothing to his family.
Mohammed Death was huge shock on Muslims many of them
couldn't believe it
The life of Mohammed has over but his realign did not Islam
spread all over the world
How this happens? This is anther story.
Here my humble very brief biography of Mohammed end
Few final notes remain.

Mohammed says

The best way to understand the man & his massage is to read
what he says about his realign so lets here it from the man.
Mohammed says and doing are obligatory to Muslims.
1- The true Muslim is he from whose hands and from whose
tongue other Muslims are safe. The true emigrant is he who
forsakes that which is forbidden by God

2- Allah the Almighty states

My servant transgresses against me, while it does not behoove
him to do so. He abuses Me. while it does not behoove him to
do so. His transgression against me is that he says that ‘Allah
the Almighty, having once created me, will not resurrect me
(after I am dead).’And his abuse of me is that he claims that
‘Allah has taken unto Himself a son,’whereas I am Self-
Sufficient, the One on Whom everything else depends. I have
never begot, nor was I begotten, and there never was one like
unto Me

3-There are three qualities which, when possessed by

someone will enable him to discover the true sweetness of
faith
That Allah and His messenger are dearer to him than
anything else; that he loves someone purely for the sake of
Allah; that after Allah The Almighty has saved him from
disbelief, he loathes returning to disbelief as much as he
abhors being hurled into fire

4-The best among you is the one who learns the Quran and
teaches it to others

5- Abu Saeed Khudri. Narrates

The Holy Prophet .UI bused to feed the camels himself: He ³
would perform household chores: mend shoes, darn clothes,
milk goats, and eat in the company of servants. If a servant
became tired while grinding flour, he would help him at this.
He would not feel belittled carrying household goods from the
market to the house. He would shake hands with the rich and
the poor alike. He would always be the first to extend
greetings. He would not disdain accepting an invitation - not
even so small an invitation as to join in eating dates. He would
relieve those who toiled. He was mild-tempered and kind-
hearted. His conduct was excellent and he was always
cheerful. He would smile but would not laugh loudly; he
would not frown even when vexed. He was humble, but not
lowly Generous, but not extravagant.
He was tender-hearted and merciful to all Muslims alike. He
would never eat his fill to the point where one is likely to start
yawning. He would never extend his hand motivated by greed

6- Omar bin Khattab says

We were sitting in the company of the Holy Prophet when
suddenly a man arrived. He was
Wearing clean, white clothes and his hair was jet black.
He did not look as though he was a traveler and he was not
known to any of us. He sat down close to the Holy Prophet
His knees touching the latter’s. He said, ‘Tell me something
about faith.’The Holy Prophet replied: ‘Faith is that you
should believe in Allah, His angels, His Books and His
prophets; that you should believe in the Day of Judgment and
that you should believe in the Divine laws relating to good
and evil
7- Abdullah bin Masud states that he asked the Holy Prophet
which deed was most pleasing to Allah the Exalted. The Holy
Prophet replied
Offering the prayers at the appointed timeµ
I enquired, ‘And after this
He replied, ‘Being kind to parents
I asked, ‘Which deed after this
He answered, ‘Striving in the path of Allah

8- A generous person is close to Allah, close to the people and

close to Paradise but far away from Hell. As opposed to this, a
miser is far away from Allah, from the people and from
Paradise, but close to Hell. An ignorant person who is
generous is dearer to Allah than a worshipping miser

9-‘The case of a person who observes the limits set by Allah as

compared to the one who breaks these limits is like that of a
people who cast lots about reserving places in a boat. Some of
them are allotted the upper deck while others get the lower.
When those on the lower deck need water they have to pass
by those who are above them. They suggest, ‘If we make a
hole in our part of the ship we will not disturb those above
us.’If those on the upper deck let them do as they intend, all
of them will be destroyed, while if they stop them, all of them
will remain safe

10-A person who invites people to the truth gets a reward

Equal to the reward of all those who accept the truth
(at his invitation), while nothing will be subtracted from their
rewards. Likewise a person who entices others to sin carries
the burden of all the sins committed at his inducement, while
nothing will be subtracted from the punishment of those who
commit the sins

11-“The one dearest to me and the one nearest to me on the

Day of Judgment, will be the one who is most well mannered.
The most loathsome from among you and furthest removed
from me on the Day of Judgment will be the boastful, the
braggarts and the al-mutafaihiqoon.” The Companions
required, ‘We know the ones who are boastful and those who
brag, but who are the mutafaihiqoon?’The Holy Prophet
answered, ‘They are those who are arrogant and spiteful

12-‘Whoever relieves a believer of his worries in this world

will have his afflictions removed by Allah on the Day of
Judgment. Whoever is lenient to someone whose means of
sustenance have been straitened, Allah will be lenient to him
in this world and the next. Whoever covers the weakness of a
Muslim, Allah will provide him cover in this world and in the
world to come. Allah always stands by the side of the one who
is helpful to his brother. Whoever treads a path in pursuit of
knowledge, Allah will facilitate thereby his way to Paradise.
Those who gather in any of the Houses of Allah to recite the
Book of Allah and teach each other are certainly blessed with
tranquility; they are covered by His mercy and are
surrounded by the angels. Allah mentions them to those who
are closest to Him. The one, who is left behind because of his
deeds, will not have his cause advanced because of the good
name of his family

would have found me by his side. 0 son of Adam! I begged
you for food and you did not feed me.’He will respond, ‘0 my

universe?’Allah will say, ‘Did you not realize that when a

him, if you had fed him I would have appreciated it as if you
had done it to Me. O son of Adam! I asked thee to quench my
thirst, and you refused to do so.’He will say, ‘How could I
quench your thirst, while you are the Lord of the universe?’

told him about it. He said (to me), "When you pluck the dates
and collect them in the Mirbad (i.e. a place where dates are
dried), call me (Allah's Apostle)." Finally he came
accompanied by Abu Bakr and 'Umar and sat on the dates
and invoked Allah to bless them. Then he said, "Call your
creditors and give them their full rights." So, I paid all my

longer. Then he said to me, "Sit down here." So he made me
sit in an open space surrounded by rocks, and said to me, "Sit
here till I come back to you." He went towards Al-Harra till I
could not see him, and he stayed away for a long period, and
then I heard him saying, while he was coming, "Even if he
had committed theft, and even if he had committed illegal
sexual intercourse?" When he came, I could not remain
patient and asked him, "O Allah's Prophet! Let Allah get me
sacrificed for you! Whom were you speaking to by the side of
Al-Harra? I did not hear anybody responding to your talk."
He said, "It was Gabriel who appeared to me beside Al-Harra
and said, 'Give the good news to your followers that whoever
dies without having worshipped anything besides Allah, will

marriage, he ought to be given her in marriage, and if he
intercedes for somebody, his intercession will be accepted.

and Allah's Apostle asked the same man (his companion)
again, "What is your opinion about this (second) one?" He
said, "O Allah's Apostle! This person is one of the poor
Muslims. If he should ask a lady's hand in marriage, no-one
will accept him, and if he intercedes for somebody, no one will

heart (i.e. how dear to me he was), so if he is in Paradise, I
will not weep for him, or otherwise, you will see what I will
do." The Prophet said, "May Allah be merciful upon you!
Are you mad? Is there only one Paradise? There are many
Paradises, and he is in the highest Paradise of Firdaus." The
Prophet added, "A forenoon journey or an after noon
journey in Allah's Cause is better than the whole world and

and your eye has a right on you, and your guest has a right on
you, and your wife has a right on you. I hope that you will
have a long life, and it is sufficient for you to fast for three
days a month as the reward of a good deed, is multiplied ten

(on fasting more) so I was given a hard instruction. I said, "I
can do more than that (fasting)" The Prophet said, "Fast
three days every week." But as I insisted (on fasting more) so
I was burdened. I said, "I can fast more than that." The
Prophet said, "Fast as Allah's prophet David used to fast." I
said, "How was the fasting of the prophet David?" The
Prophet said, "One half of a year (i.e. he used to fast on
alternate days).

86-Narrated Safiya bint Huyai:

The wife of the Prophet that she went to Allah's Apostle while
he was in Itikaf (staying in the mosque) during the last ten
nights of the month of Ramadan. She spoke to him for an
hour (a while) at night and then she got up to return home.
The Prophet got up to accompany her, and when they
reached the gate of the mosque opposite the dwelling place of
Um Salama, the wife of the Prophet, two Ansari men passed
by, and greeting Allah's Apostle , they quickly went ahead.
Allah's Apostle said to them, "Do not be in a hurry She is
Safiya, the daughter of Huyai." They said, "Subhan Allah! O
Allah's Apostle (how dare we suspect you)." That was a great
thing for both of them. The Prophet then said, "Satan runs in
the body of Adam's son (i.e. man) as his blood circulates in it,
and I was afraid that he (Satan) might insert an evil thought
in your hearts."

87-None of you will have faith till he wishes for his (Muslim)
brother what he likes for himself.

88-Whoever possesses the following three qualities will have

the sweetness (delight) of faith:
1. The one to whom Allah and His Apostle becomes dearer
than anything else.
2. Who loves a person and he loves him only for Allah's sake.
3. Who hates to revert to Atheism (disbelief) as he hates to be
thrown into the fire."

89-Narrated 'Aisha:
Once the Prophet came while a woman was sitting with me
He said, "Who is she?" I replied, "She is so and so," and told
him about her (excessive) praying. He said disapprovingly,
"Do (good) deeds which is within your capacity (without
being overtaxed) as Allah does not get tired (of giving
rewards) but (surely) you will get tired and the best deed (act
of Worship) in the sight of Allah is that which is done
regularly."

90- Narrated Talha bin 'Ubaidullah:

A man from Najd with unkempt hair came to Allah's Apostle
and we heard his loud voice but could not understand what
he was saying, till he came near and then we came to know
that he was asking about Islam. Allah's Apostle said, "You
have to offer prayers perfectly five times in a day and night
(24 hours)." The man asked, "Is there any more (praying)?"
Allah's Apostle replied, "No, but if you want to offer the
Nawafil prayers (you can)." Allah's Apostle further said to
him: "You have to observe fasts during the month of Ramad,
an." The man asked, "Is there any more fasting?" Allah's
Apostle replied, "No, but if you want to observe the Nawafil
fasts (you can.)" Then Allah's Apostle further said to him,
"You have to pay the Zakat (obligatory charity)." The man
asked, "Is there any thing other than the Zakat for me to
pay?" Allah's Apostle replied, "No, unless you want to give
alms of your own." And then that man retreated saying, "By
Allah! I will neither do less nor more than this." Allah's
Apostle said, "If what he said is true, then he will be
successful (i.e. he will be granted Paradise)."

91-"You will be rewarded for whatever you spend for Allah's

sake even if it were a morsel which you put in your wife's
mouth."

92-"Help your brother whether he is an oppressor or an

oppressed," A man said, "O Allah's Apostle! I will help him if
he is oppressed, but if he is an oppressor, how shall I help
him?" The Prophet said, "By preventing him from
oppressing (others), for that is how to help him."

93-"A Muslim is a brother of another Muslim. So he should

neither oppress him nor hand him over to an oppressor. And
whoever fulfilled the needs of his brother, Allah will fulfill his
needs."

94-Narrated Khansa' bint Khidam Al-Ansariya:

That her father gave her in marriage when she was a matron
and she disliked that marriage, So she came and (complained)
to the Prophets and he declared that marriage invalid.

95-Abu Huraira said, Allah's Apostle said, "By Him in Whose

Hand my life is, I would love to fight in Allah's Cause and
then get martyred and then resurrected (come to life) and
then get martyred and then resurrected (come to life) and
then get martyred, and then resurrected (come to life) and
then get martyred and then resurrected (come to life)." Abu
Huraira used to repeat those words three times and I testify
to it with Allah's Oath.

96-Not to wish to be the like except of two men A man whom

Allah has given the (knowledge of the) Qur'an and he recites
it during the hours of night and day and the one who wishes
says: If I were given the same as this (man) has been given, I
would do what he does, and a man whom Allah has given
wealth and he spends it in the just and right way, in which
case the one who wishes says, 'If I were given the same as he
has been given, I would do what he does.' "

97-"None of you should long for death, for if he is a good

man, he may increase his good deeds, and if he is an evil-doer,
he may stop the evil deeds and repent."

98-Narrated Al-Bara' bin 'Azib:

The Prophet was carrying earth with us on the day of the
battle of Al-Ahzab (confederates/ trench) and I saw that the
dust was covering the whiteness of his abdomen, and he (the
Prophet ) was saying, "(O Allah) ! Without you, we would not
have been guided, nor would we have given in charity, nor
would we have prayed. So (O Allah!) please send tranquility
(Sakina) upon us as they, (the chiefs of the enemy tribes) have
rebelled against us. And if they intend affliction (i.e. want to
frighten us and fight against us) then we would not (flee but
withstand them). And the Prophet used to raise his voice with
it.

99-Narrated 'Aisha:
The Prophet bought some foodstuff on credit for a limited
period and mortgaged his armor for it.

Mohammed and women

No one can deny that Islam made huge improvement in Arab

women life.
Before Islam Arabian women (except few noble ones) used to
be treat as objects
Some Arabs used to bury there own daughters alive? Right
after there birth thinking there is no good keeping them.
Mohammed declare that men and women equals in front of
god
Give the women the right to choose there husbands
Give the women the right of inheritance
Give the divorced women alimony
Prohibition men of using there female slaves in prostitution
Bind men to spend on there wife's, daughters, mothers and
poor female relatives
But what makes most of debate is the polygamy in Islam and
in Mohammed life
Islam allows man to marriage up to 4 women in the same time
even though this is hateful but it's legal.
Mohammed him self get married 11 women?
Mohammed spend most of his adult life with his first wife
kaduga until she dies
But he marriage 10 women in 10 years after his emigration to
medina and after he pass 50 years old in the middle of his
struggle& wars to spread Islam?
During his youth he didn't marriage but kaduga like Arab
costumes, some scholars see Mohammed polygamy as
marriage of convenience?
Mohammed marriage old poor widow of his deceased
followers to encourage Muslims to do so
To strengthen his bond with Arab tribes he marriage from
them making it hard for them to fight him or his followers
He also marriage the daughters of his best companions
Aush the daughter of abu baker and hafsa the daughter of
amer abn alkatab
Thos men rule his state after him.

Mohammed the general

If you read this book you must notice that wars take big part
in Mohammed's life
The man led his men to war 26 times and send his troops to
fight 38 times.
Mohammed always gives the follow instruction to his
worriers and troops leaders
Don't attack at night.
Don't fight before invite there enemy to Islam & if they refuse
it invite them to nonaggression pact if they refuse then fight
them.
Don't cutoff tree or pulling down house.
Never kill old men or women or child or any one didn't start
fight with them.
Stop fighting as soon as there enemy stop and desire peace.
When I was reading this I couldn't stop thinking of what
horribleness mankind had commit and still committing.
I fix my TV to not get any news channels because it's not
health to keep watching people get killed.
Any way Mohammed was inflexible with who ever disobey
this instruction
It's clear that Mohammed many wars had one and only
purpose to GRANITE the freedom of believe.
In his long war with the tribe of qurush he insists that all he
wants is one thing to let people freely choose.
His army never attack city or village if they hear single call
for pray on it if some one of this village can call for Islamic
pray than they can't fight them.
If any man of any tribe grantee his men safety Mohammed
would send his men to tech the people of this tribe about
Islam.
Mohammed released thousands of war prisoners while his
enemies were drinking wine
In his followers skulls and made bracelets of there ears. Thos
who released by Mohammed not only didn't fight him again
but also most of them believe in him and fight in his side.
Mohammed used to consult his men in almost every thing
unless there is order of god of doing some thing.
He lasting to every opinion & if the majority choose some
thing he agree even if he didn't like it unless it was against
religion (like killing war prisoners)
But the most noticeable quality of Mohammed as military
general is his huge influence on his men beside his
remarkable courage he has strange ability to inspire his men.
After the battle of auhad which Muslims had there biggest
defeat
Wheel the Muslims were counting there loses they find a man
named saiiad abn alrabui he was dying his last word's and
testament was greeting Mohammed and think him and to till
his people that they have no excuse if there enemy hart there
prophet wheel they still alive.
Is this sound normal?
Mohammed was always confirm that he isn't a king or wants
to be one he is prophet send by god and follow his orders.
And always confirm to his men that there fight is not for
worldly purposes but for god and his religion.
This was Mohammed the general.

The religion of Mohammed

To be Muslim that's mean that you believe on the following:
1. Oneness of god incomparable God, Who has no son nor
partner, and that none have the right to be worshipped but
Him
2. To believe that Mohammed is the messenger of god & the
informer of his orders.
3. According to previous beliefs Muslims believe in the Holy
Koran that it's the words of god and they obligated to obey it.
And the instruction of Mohammed related to Islam religion is
also obligated because it's not come from his own mind but its
orders of god.
That is the fundamental principles of Islam
You also believe in the Angels, Day of Judgment,
Resurrection,
Paradise& hell
If you believe in this then there is things to do
1. You should pray Muslims perform five prayers a day. Each
prayer does not
Take more than a few minutes to perform
2. Giving zakah committed charity you give to who ever in
need in most time its 2.5% of your possession for one year.
3. Fasting the Month of Ramadan, Muslims fast from dawn
until sundown, abstaining from food, drink, and sexual
relations
4. Pilgrimage to Mecca obligation once in a lifetime for those
who are physically and financially able to perform it.
What to not do?
Islam is very dynamic religion in what to do and what not to
do
Adultery, usury; stealing, drinking wine, and killing aren't
the only prohibited things to do you shouldn't do or say any
thing harm ethers.
On the either hand you should do your best helping people
even by preventing them to do harm.

Question of the hour did Islam encourage Terrorism?

Will you read in this book some of Mohammed life story see
how he act with his enemy's
Holy Koran says ( God does not forbid you from showing
kindness and dealing justly with those who have not fought
you about religion and have not driven you out of your
homes. God loves just dealers)
So there are not Muslims Terrorists?
That would be big lie watch some TV would you
What I see throw my reading in Islam and ether subjects is if
aoussama ban Ladin wasn't Muslim he would be Terrorist
any way.
Islam encourage Muslims to fight for what's right and against
injustice with all there power that's how Muslims mange to
defeat imperial of Persians then Rome after 800 years of
fighting start over murder of one Muslim man.
Put this spirit in persecuted misleading group = news in cnn
What most people misunderstand is Islam is not Muslims just
like Christian man isn't Jesus.
And just like Christianity doesn't have the same meaning for
all Christian so Islam & any ether religion
Its common will know fact that people tend to subjugate there
believes to what suits them the most.
Why the Islamic Terrorism groups existing & why in this
time& not the past?
That's need another book this one was about Mohammed, his
life and religion.
I think my book is come to its end I hope it wasn't waste of
your time
