Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Purpose:

City Skylines Mechanic HQ, presents to Los Santos, a custom car workshop that enables vehicle
owners to add on various different types of modifications as well as upgrades available to their
vehicles based on their own unique preferences. The company’s strives to allow customizable
changes for all vehicles while at the same time provide preventive maintenance and vehicle
repairing services to the people of Los Santos with an assembled team of trained and active
mechanics.

Vision statement:

City Skylines Mechanic HQ, prioritizes and aims to provide the best vehicle services to its customers
while at the same time serve its share of contribution to satisfy the crazy lifestyles in the city of Los
Santos. The company hopes and looks to expand in the future throughout the entirety of Los Santos.

Procedures and practices:

On-duty

1) While being on-duty outside the premises of City Skylines Mechanic HQ, mechanics should
always wear the “mechanic” outfit as mentioned in the company’s code of conduct.

2) Mechanics will receive work text messages on their phones under the contact named as
“mechanic”. The messages include the exact GPS location of the customer and additional
messages from the customers if they chose to do so. If the customer states or mentions the
supposed situation, mechanics are then able to predict the type of service they should
provide, whether it be to repair, impound or tow a vehicle.

3) During a scenario where there are too many calls coming in, or employees are unable to
work under normal condition due to unforeseen circumstances (such as car crashes or being
hospitalized), other employees who are on-duty, should assist their colleagues by sending a
message prior to the customer so that they are aware of how much time they should wait
before the mechanic arrives.

4) Under the code of conduct, billing and charges to customers are to be based off the price
and quality of the vehicle. Should the more expensive cars have higher rates for repairs than
the lower priced cars. An exception to the government forces, such as the EMS and Police
force, that they would be charged at a lower fixed price in exchange for their care and safety
for the people of Los Santos.

5) Customers are absolute. They are always the first in priority whether it be to fix a mechanic’s
car or a customer’s car. The customers come first. Courtesy must be shown to the
customers regardless of how they treat the employees. (unless the customers themselves
initiate violence, then self-defence is allowed.)

6) The Mechanics Department require active mechanics. If an employee is unable to go on-duty

for a certain number of days or weeks. They are asked to inform the higher-ups so that other
employees are able to cover the time shifts and not leave the city without a mechanic force.

7) You can only bill in repairing or lockpicking services through invoice. NEVER accept cash.

8) You may stock up on repair kits crafted by Mechanic Novices and above. Just ask them and
they will give you some. You are then able to sell them to customers through invoice and
have a secondary income other than repairs. Each repair kit goes for $1000 each.

9) Another alternative to acquire repair kits is the mechanic HQ, where the “Mechanic actions”
is, at the boss room, you can ‘Withdraw stock’ and take repair kits there. We will constantly
supply exactly 100 repair kits in the stash every 2-3 days so you can withdraw from it to sell
to your customers.

The max capacity of repair kits you can carry is 20. DO NOT exceed holding 20 repair kits (5
on you, 15 in car trunk)

IMPORTANT
Every time you withdraw repair kits, make sure you screenshot and send it in the mechanic
chat. That way, the higher-ups know who has taken them and not exceed the limit.
These transactions are highly monitored and will come with serious circumstances if caught
taking more than the supposed limit.

10) Always be kind and do not be aggressive when encountering people whether it be civilians,
cops or ems. Have respect for others especially the whitelisted jobs, as they are our
colleagues.

11) Crime is NOT ALLOWED, when wearing the outfit or when you are on-duty. Whenever you
are wearing the mechanic uniform, YOU are representing the mechanic department.
Anything that you do or say will partially or directly affect everyone in the team. You are
responsible for your actions.

12) The Mechanic department provides a customisable company service truck for all the
mechanics with a base purchase price of $5000 at the garage section of the HQ. You are able
to spawn, store and modify it to your liking whenever you are on-duty.
Off-duty

1) DO NOT wear on-duty attire/uniform when doing anything illegal or not part of the
mechanic job.
2) ONLY USE repair kits provided by the Mechanics Department, when participating in illegal
activities and DO NOT use the F6 repair ability as a dressed civilian (shady or robber’s outfit).
3) DO NOT store repair kits in your apartment, this is due to the fact that you are able to give
it to your other characters (which is NOT ALLOWED). If you wish to own repair kits, you must
buy it from your fellow employees as your secondary/tertiary characters.
4) You may do crime off-duty but it will have serious consequences if caught and reported by
the police to the mechanic higher-ups. Punishments such as demotion or laying off will be
imposed if caught too many times by the police.

(This is heavily monitored and if caught, will face serious consequences)
