PROFESSIONAL HISTORY

Library Services Assistant, Miami Township Branch Library 2015 – Present

 As the senior part-time LSA at Miami Township, I have assisted in training two new LSA’s over
the past two years.
 I maintain the adult collection, which I manage by creating weeding lists every month based on
circulation numbers, wear and tear, and relevance.
 Since August of 2018, I have worked at 10 of the 41 library locations within The Public Library
of Cincinnati and Hamilton County gaining new experience and connections within the system,
as well as improving my adaptability as a library worker.
 Customer relations: I take pride in my ability to work well with customers of all ages and
personalities, and have been commended on customer service by my manager.
 Social Media Experience: PLCH has published pictures and stories I’ve submitted about Miami
Township in the past.

Teen Librarian Intern, Harrison Branch Library May, 2019 – Present

 Gained experience planning teen programs and building relationships with teenagers.
 Increased outreach knowledge by observing the teen librarian give book talks at the local middle
school and high school.
 Prepped for the Harrison teen and adult book clubs by preparing questions, and participated in the
discussions.
