Learning Goals: Exploring confidently

It was a sunny morning last Friday. We decided to go for a hikoi

(excursion) to Mitre 10 Mega to pick up some plants that have been
donated by them to our center. All of the children were very excited. Issa
was too because it was the first time for you to come along. I can see
that you were looking around, observing the new surroundings. Even
though you were in the stroller, you held on well to Muhammad Ali and
Rayan.
At Mitre 10 Mega, we visited their play area. Issa loves the play area,
where he was exploring new environment and challenging himself with
various play equipment. Masha Allah, I can see that you were very
confident climbing up the slide as you have experienced it before at our
center. Issa, your curiosity has lead you to develop confidence and
control over your body. You were a risk taker as you were trying to
challenge yourself with new activities and you were able to cope with
new environment and surround. I like it when you took your time
observing the other children and were able to play alongside them even
though you are quite younger than them.
You really enjoyed the hikoi, exploring the new environment and getting
to know the community. You were a bit quiet when we start walking but
you were so happy when we walked back to the center. I look forward to
see your new adventure, exploring and challenging your abilities to gain
new skills and developments.
