1. Preparation
Shift Valve 1 (ZF8HP55)
F 12mm a. Thoroughly clean valve body before and after disassembly as dirt and debris can damage

C Clutch Valve (ZF8HP45/70) a. When applicable, remove the solenoid retaining clip and solenoid.

(ZF8HP55) b. Remove OE end plug retaining clip and set aside for reuse.

C Clutch Holding Valve c. Remove and discard OE end plug.

J 12mm a. Install Sonnax O-rings into shallow groove(s) on Sonnax end plugs.
Park Pawl Release Valve
(ZF8HP45/70) b. Lubricate and roll end plug on clean flat surface to size O-ring into groove.
K Priming Valve 12mm c. Install each end plug into appropriate bore (chart).

Vacuum testing at the port(s) indicated holds the recommended Upper Valve Body
minimum 16 in-Hg.

NOTE: Port configurations may change due to

variations of casting channels.
