3.2 Installing a Cabinet on an Adjustable Base

When a cabinet is installed in the equipment room with an antistatic floor, an adjustable base needs to be installed between the
antistatic floor and the concrete floor.

·Adjustable Base Description:

The 19-inch cabinet provides three types of adjustable bases: A, B and C. They m

5. Connecting Multiple Cabinets in a Row

After each cabinet is installed in accordance with“Installing an Individual Cabinet”, you need to connect the cabinets.

The steps for connecting cabinets with top covers and without top covers are similar, except for connection hole positions. The
cabinets with top covers are connected through the holes on the top covers. The cabinets without top covers are connected through
the holes on the cabinet tops.
This document uses the methods for connecting cabinets without top covers as an example.

A When two cabinets are installed side by side, the

side doors between these two cabinets are not
required.

The four M4 hex bolts on the outer sides of the

cabinet tops are used for connecting multiple
cabinets.

The space between two adjacent cabinets in a

row must be less than 3 mm.
The cabinet rows must be parallel and aligned to
each other and the deviation must be less than 5
mm.

6. Securing a Cabinet on Top

After a cabinet is installed, top connection plates can be used to secure the cabinet to the cabling racks to improve the
cabinet shockproof capacity.

The steps for securing cabinets with top covers and without top covers are similar, except for connection hole positions. The cabinets
with top covers are secured through the holes on the top covers. The cabinets without top covers are secured through the holes on the
cabinet tops.
This document uses the methods for securing cabinets without top covers as an example.

· When all the connection holes on cabinet top are under the cabling
rack, the installation diagram is as follows:

The connection plates of the same type
are used as horizontal plates and B B
upright plates.
If the horizontal connection plate is
longer than the distance between the Hex bolt
cabinet top and the cabling rack, cut
off a piece of connection plate as
required.

Use four top connection plates to

secure an individual cabinet.
When multiple cabinets are
installed side by side, determine
the number of connection plates
as required.
