STUDY GUIDE FOR CRACKING THE SAT PREMIUM, 2019 EDITION:

4-WEEK PLAN
Week 1

Monday
rr Take Practice Test 1 (page 457). Keep the results of the test in mind as you go through the next
week, and slow down your review when you hit a section where you struggled. Also keep in mind
that whenever you take a practice test, you should mimic the actual test-taking experience as much as
possible—that is, stick to time limits, don’t take breaks to text or check Facebook, and don’t get up in
the middle of a section to get a snack.

rr Take Practice Test 5. Compare your results to the previous four tests and note the areas in which
you’ve improved.

Extend Your Practice!


If you’re feeling up to it and have some prep time left, take Practice Test 6, Practice Test 7, and Practice
Test 8—but be sure to wait a few days in between each test. You don’t want to overdo it! Also, avoid taking a
practice test right before you take the actual SAT. The final days leading up to the exam should be as restful as
possible so you don’t burn yourself out. Remember, rest is an important part of studying, too: it gives your mind
an opportunity to process all you’ve learned.
