SMITH & WESSON ~ MODEL 29-2 .44 MAGNUM

RARE 5-INCH BARREL
GOOD SHAPE...MFD 1962, C&R OK
NO RESERVE!! Here's a rather scarce Smith & Wesson Model 29-2 double-action .44 Magnum. This revolver
wears the desirable & rare 5-inch barrel. It is believed that fewer than 500 .44 Magnum revolvers were
produced with the 5-inch barrel (prior to the late production stuff). The barrel appears correct and not cut
down...the muzzle crown and front sight attachment appear to be 100% factory. It is "pinned & recessed" and
features the white-outline adjustable rear sight, red ramp front sight, target hammer, target trigger, and

hardened hammer and trigger. Condition is very good with some moderate finish wear from honest use. There
is finish wear to each side of the barrel at the muzzle, various small marks on the cylinder, and scattered
handling marks. There is no significant rust or any pitting. The stocks are in very fine shape and free of any
cracks or chips. The mechanics are in good working order with proper timing and good lock-up. The bore is
excellent too with bright, sharp rifling. According to the serial number, this scarce revolver was manufactured
in about 1963.

Buyer pays $25.00 shipping. Your C&R License is acceptable for transfer if permitted in your area.
SORRY, BUT I CANNOT END ANY AUCTION EARLY……PLEASE DON'T ASK!

C&R holder but only if that C&R holder ALSO has a current California Certificate of Eligibility (COE).
