Technology).The aim of this internship is to be familiar to the practical aspect and uses of
theoretical knowledge and clarifying the career goals, so I have successfully completed the
internship and compiled this report as the summary and the conclusion that have drawn from the
internship experience.

Summary Report
As a student of Lord Buddha Education Foundation, it is a part of a curriculum to do an
internship at some good institutions or organization where there is a use of technology. I got
chance to work as an intern in Guras Technology Pvt. Ltd in the fifth semester of my college.
In the first Part of the project report, I have included the general information of the Gurastec,
about their mission, vision, objectives and the environment. The all the information is gathered
from primary as well as from the official site of Guras Technology.
The second part of the report i.e. Technical Part contains the specialized subject study which I
have done during my internship period. The task I have done in my intern and how I have done,
what are the problems I faced and so on.
I have work as a Web Developer under the supervision of Ms. Prakriti Neupane (HOD of
Computing). I have done research on various .NEt frameworks.
The overall internship period was very challenging and entertaining for me. I didn’t have
knowledge in .Net much but now I believe I have a new skill at various .net platforms.

I have done internship at Guras Technology located in Maitidevi, Kathmandu. On these three
month of time I have worked as an Front End developer under the supervision of Mrs. Prakriti
Neupane (supervisor) of Guras technology. My work is to do front end developing using HTML
and CSS of various organization.

test and commission a CCTV Surveillance System. This translates to a statement of need
which can be considered to be A high performance managed surveillance service with 24 / 7 /
365 availability Our mission therefore, is to deliver a high performance managed
surveillance service with 24 / 7 / 365 availability. We intend to meet the customer
requirement, and in doing so, to complement and enhance the existing security arrangements.
We assume that the surveillance system has the following objectives
 Detect theft
 Detect suspicious activity.
 Detect opportunist malpractice.
 Aid fire detection and safety.

Communications/Information Technology
Methods of communication with respect to the organization and use of
technology
Due to increase of technology there are many communication methods to communicate with
client and customers. Company uses many communications method to connect customers and
worker. The main method is used by company to the talk with worker is Skype and Trello.
Company use Skype to do video chat when an obstacle rises during the project and to search the
solution. Trello is project management application where task is given on a daily basis. It is also
used for track the employees how much their task is complimented.
There are many other means communication like whatsapp, Facebook, viber, instagram,
telephone and mobile. All these means of communication is used to talk with client employee as
well as to promote the company. Company uses the means of communications fully to promote
the company. They generate different types of advertisement on different intervals of times so
that they can communicate with the outer people. They use to communicate with people through
their website by providing information regarding admission and vacancies.

Chapter 2: Technical Report

Introduction of the nature of your work
I have worked as Front End developer in Guras Technology. Guras technology gives me great
opportunity and platform to learn about front end developing as well as improving my skills as
front end developer. When I enter first day at office I feel strange because of working
environment which I have never done as professional worker. I feel strange because I don’t know
how organization works, their rules and their cultures. Then my supervisor guides me how to
work, explain everything and rules, culture and what work I need to do. My main work is
learning about HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript as well as ASP.NET.
During my three months of internship as intern I get chance to learn lots of things about html,
CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript. I may not do full support as front end developer but i give my
100% effort to complete to task given by my supervisor. Sometimes I tried to learn other
different programs and participate every meeting and program hold by company. During this
time not only programming, I learn how a company do business with client or how they manage
to every work on time. This company gives me plenty techniques, knowledge, skills and ideas
about front end developing. I even learn basic of asp.net during my internship.
My supervisor was always ready to help me whenever I get obstacles during my project. During
this three months internship I got lots of project. Even if someday f there is no project for me
they give us class about programming language and its techniques. My company even helps
during project also what type of project I’m doing and helping during that time. Everyone was
very helpful and understandable. Whatever I ask they give me answer without getting answer,
because of these behavior I grew more interests to learn about programming language and I gave
my full time to grab whatever opportunity I am getting on these three months.

In this section, is the overall task assigned by during the period of three months of internship. In
this section, is the overall task assigned during the period of three month of internship. Outline
covers the relation between the original lines of codes and existed in the system along with some
of the new functionalities. In the intern I do research on Front end developing such as developing
a website using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript and ASP.NET. I am may know basic
knowledge it hard to figure out about Bootstrap, JavaScript and ASP.NET. So, I this will also
discuss on the problems that were faced during the process of getting the works done during the
period of my internship
Brief
Even though this internship gives me chance to learn programming language still it was equally
hard and challenging. My supervisor introduces and explains the rules and regulations of
company as well as work flow of the company. I was assigned to do many tasks on HTML and
CSS using bootstrap and JavaScript. The very day I got task of researching and making of
header and footer for the company on html and CSS without using bootstrap and JavaScript.
Even though I was not new to HTML and CSS it’s still pretty hard. After researching and
making they again give another task how to use div tag. They give to make form and body of the
web page.
After giving part wise task they ask me to combine and try to make website. It became hard to
combine all parts of the given task. I asked help to my supervisor and finish the website. After
finishing a simple website they ask me to learn bootstrap. And try to use on the website. It takes
few weeks to learn to basic of bootstrap and I started to use on my website. I use many videos
from udemy and w3schools to learn the basic as well as try to learn advance also. After learning
basic of bootstrap and I started to learn JavaScript. JavaScript became really hard for me to learn.
After these programming they ask to learn basic of ASP.Net for front end also because they want
me to do frond end from asp.net. SO I started to learn and it became very hard to grab because of
complexity of ASP.NET at same time I need to complete my task given by them.
Basically my task is to develop front end as front end developer using html, CSS and ASP.NET.
So, after few weeks they started give me various projects.

Learned HTML and CSS

At first I learn basic of html and css to make website because it I am want do front end
developing. HTML and CSS is used to give looks of the website. I learned basic of syntax of
HTML and CSS during this time. I try to make many tasks like restaurant menu, attendance sheet
etc. just using basic of HTML and CSS. I started use many option and website and videos to
learn HTML and CSS. My supervisor helps me to learn and understand. Using udemy and
w3schools I learn most of the code. Using and remembering every code is very difficult task so, I
used practice so many times in a day. I used try it and try to learn what is the use of this code
why can’t I use another code instead of this. Because of this behavior it helps to get knowledge
and learn more and more bout HTML and CSS. After learning and using it so many times it
became little bit easier to use code.
Learned Bootstrap and JavaScript

After learning HTML and CSS I started to learn Bootstrap and JavaScript using udemy videos
and w3schools. After I used to get from videos I used all of them on my website and check it
whether it is good or not to use in website. Learning bootstrap and using it is very hard but it
make website more attractive. I tried to learn as much as I am doing project myself and asking
mu supervisor about the problem and solution and started to get used to with code even though it
is hard for me. After learning bootstrap, JavaScript really give me tough time to understand and
use it. I used to ask every second and minute to my supervisor and my colleagues what to and
where to do. I used every as many as videos and learning website to get the idea of JavaScript.
After giving immense about of practicing time finally I started to learn slowly and slowly. So I
stared to use on my task to know it will work or not. Even though I understand basic of
JavaScript it became very hard while using task because of small error I didn’t get output of the
project. I tired many times to get the right output. With help of supervisor I used to get success
try to learn again and again. During this time I realize learning and giving immense amount of
time we can do any type of code even though it is hard at starting.

Creating website using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap and JavaScript

After learning these above things I started to created website as per the company project
requirements. Each day I was making and trying to make a home page of website using only
these programming languages with the help of my supervisor and colleagues. We were four
intern person do to that project. So we divided our task to each of them and started doing our
parts. Even though it was divided task it become harder for me because I need use all these
features on our respective projects. So watching learning videos and websites and implementing
on the given task was my daily task with the help of supervisor and colleagues. Not only website
they also give different task to learn by ourselves.
Watching learning videos and websites it makes me little bit easier to implement on the project.
During this time we got project of BOEC so we divided our task to each person and started to do
it. With proper guidance and research it helps me develop my parts on time. At first it really that
I couldn’t found the way how start because it was my first professional and biggest task given by
my company so my supervisor gave idea how top start. During this time I make lots of mistake
on designing as well as coding. But I gave my full effort to complete the task. As first project I
get learn more and more about front end developer. It gives me really hard time to get output.
Finally after many days I got output and finish my part. After this I got another project of guras
technology to make website again. It was already made website but our company want to remade
it with using asp.net, Ajax and angular.
Learn asp.net
After HTML I got opportunity to learn asp.net but it was really hard for me. I gave immense
amount of time to learn still is very hard. I used to ask my supervisor and colleagues and seniors
whenever I was confused. Under supervision my seniors and supervisor it really help to learn
faster but sometime it really gave tough to adjust so I ask I my supervisor can I learn just basic so
I can get idea of asp.net . It really takes my lots of time. I tried to learn no matter what. So finally
I learn basic of asp.net.

Develop desktop application for accounting purpose

After learning asp.net as front end developer we got task of accounting purpose. First asp.net is
really hard for me but still I try hard very hard to complete my task. In .NET Framework, there
are three main ways of developing a desktop application that I know of.
The oldest technology available in .NET is called Win-Forms, also known as Windows Forms.
This is probably the easiest desktop app development technology you can pick up. Visual Studio
will allow you to build the UI by dragging and dropping various elements onto the form. Under
the hood, however, both UI and the business logic are written in a high-level compiled language
of your choice, such as C# or VB.NET.
Although it is certainly possible to build a rich desktop application by using Win-Forms, this is
not the approach I would recommend. First of all, the technology is old and almost nobody uses
it in the industry anymore. Secondly, as both UI and the rest of the app are written in the same
language, it is not the best technology for learning the separation of concerns principle. On more
modern platforms, UI is written in a dedicated declarative markup language, while only the
business logic is written in high-level object oriented language.
Using above steps our team complete a project.
Develop website using asp.net

My company want remade his website again using asp.net. We started this asp.net as per I am
front end developer I got part the part of designing. Already doing project on HTML and CSS it
really helps this time. I got to know this time what is angular, Ajax, mvc and mvc core.
Project result
Website developing of BOEC: during developing this project I was able to develop client
demands.
Developing front end using asp.net: even though it was very hard for me, I get the result what
my supervisor want.
Developing website of guras itself: it was already made website still our supervisor want to
remake with different features so with proper research and collaboration with our colleagues we
made it again with better quality and design.

Conclusion and recommendations

My internship in Guras Technology was a wonderful experience for me and recommend by Lord
Buddha Education Foundation. And working in a professional field is a big opportunity to learn
and explore our theoretical knowledge into practical world which can’t be gained only from
books. I feel very lucky to have Guras Technology as the place of my first work experience. All
the staffs Guras Technology were helpful and I have gathered so many memories with them.
I thank Guras Technology for showing me the path of knowledge and experience which will help
me succeed in my carrier and in future professional life.
On the very first day, I was totally new to JavaScript, asp.net, html, bootstrap and css. I was
nervous and find difficulty in understand the task. I was very weak in my research as well. But,
now I have the confidence to learn and gathered knowledge in any kind of task.
I have collected lots of memories and gathered experience and knowledge in different JavaScript,
asp.net, html, bootstrap and css. This three month of internship program helps me to enhance and
develop my skills, abilities in the field of Programming. The environment is friendly and cozy.
Every day I got chance to learn new things from the supervisor and the faculty members.
From the technical point, I learned more about critical thinking and logics
I am grateful and thankful to my supervisor Mrs. Prakriti Neupane. She is like best friend she
used to suggest me, taught me life lessons, struggle for life and how work and study is related to
each other. I am very poor in Time management but he was accurate in his time despite of busy
schedule. On the other hand, I got different ideas and suggestion on my final year project.
