BAHAGIAN A: (Pengurusan Projek)

a. Critical path
The sequence of stages determining the minimum time needed for an operation, especially
when analyzed on a computer for a large organization.

b. Work Breakdown Structure

A deliverable-oriented breakdown of a project into smaller components.

c. Terminal Element
In a given constituent that is exclusively dominated by strong nodes.

d. FS Dependency Task

Finish to Start is a Logical Relationship in which a Successor Activity cannot start until a
Predecessor Activity has finished.

e. SF Dependency Task

A SF B means "activity A must start before activity B finishes" (or "B can't finish until A has
started")

f. Summary Task
Made up of subtasks, and it shows their combined information.

g. Gantt Chart
A chart in which a series of horizontal lines shows the amount of work done or production
completed in certain periods of time in relation to the amount planned for those periods.

h. Pert Chart
Project management tool used to schedule, organize, and coordinate tasks within a project.

i. Pie Chart
A type of graph in which a circle is divided into sectors that each represent a proportion of
the whole.

j. Column Chart
Display vertical bars going across the chart horizontally, with the values axis being displayed
on the left side of the chart.

k. Bar Chart
A diagram in which the numerical values of variables are represented by the height or length
of lines or rectangles of equal width.

Tools used in project management to mark specific points along a project timeline.

Bahagian B (Pangkalan Data)

a. Conceptual design
An early phase of the design process, in which the broad outlines of function and form of
something are articulated.

b. Logical design
The process of logical design involves arranging data into a series of logical relationships
called entities and attributes.

c. Instance
A set of memory structures that manage database files.

d. Attribute
An attribute refers to a database component, such as a table. It also may refer to a database
field.

e. 1:M relationship
Where one occurrence in an entity relates to many occurrences in another entity.

f. M:M relationship
A relationship between tables in a database when a parent row in one table contains several
child rows in the second table, and vice versa.

g. Relational database model

An approach to managing data using a structure and language consistent with first-order
predicate logic.

h. Hierarchical database model

A data model in which the data are organized into a tree-like structure.

i. Tuple
A single row of a table, which contains a single record for that relation

j. Record
Composed of fields, each of which contains one item of information. A set of records
constitutes a file.

k. Tables
A data structure that organizes information into rows and columns. It can be used to both
store and display data in a structured format.

A request for data or information from a database table or combination of tables.

m. Forms
A window or screen that contains numerous fields, or spaces to enter data.

n. Reports
The formatted result of database queries and contains useful data for decision-making and

a. Icosahedrons
A solid figure with twenty plane faces, especially equilateral triangular.

b. Typography
The art or procudure of arranging type or processing data and printing from it.

c. Line Arts
That consists of distinct straight or curved lines placed agains a background.

d. Animation
Process used for digitally generating animated images.

e. Video
Any digital moving picture, which includes a computer file in video formats

f. Imej Vector
Is an image made up paths(lines with a starting and ending points)

g. Imej Raster
A data file or structure representing a generally rectangular grid of pixels, or point of
colour, on a computer monitor, paper, or other display medium.

h. GIF format
“Graphics Interchange Format”- is an images on the web and sprites in software programs.

i. AAC format
“Advanced Audio Coding” - an audio compression technology that is part of the MPEG-2
and MPEG-4 standards.

j. ASF format
“Advanced Systems Format” - use for storing and streaming media.

k. JPG format
This file type for images and a means of compressing an image.

Is a commonly used raster graphic format for saving images files.

m. EPS format
Used to transfer a graphic image between applications and platforms.

n. WMF format
Is a file extension for a graphics file used with Microsoft Windows. Also can contain both
vector and bitmap image information.

BAHAGIAN D (Internet & Pembangunan Laman Web)

a. Intranet
An intranet is a private network that is contained within an enterprise.
Consist of many interlink local area network.

b. Extranet
Is a controlled private network allowing customers, partners, vendors, suppliers and other
businesses to gain information.

c. IP
Is a numerical label assigned to each device connected to a computer network that uses the
Internet Protocol for communication.

d. DNS
“Domain Name System” - is a hierarchical and decentralized naming system for computers,
services, or other resources connected to the internet or a private network.

e. HTTP
“Hypertext Transfer Protocol” - HTTP is the underlying protocol used by the World Wide Web
and this protocol defines how messages are formatted and transmitted, and that actions Web
Servers and Browser should take in response to various commands.

f. HTTPS
“Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure” - HTTPS is an extension of the Hypertext Transfer
Protocol.
It is used for secure communication over a computer network, and is widely used on the
internet.

g. Telnet
Is a protocol that allows you to connect to remote computers.

h. IMAP
“Internet Message Access protocol” - is an internet standard protocol used by email client to
retrieve email messages from a mail server over a TCP/IP Connection.

i. Podcast

Is an episodic series of digital audio or video files which a user can download in order to listen
to.

j. Wiki
Telecommunications network which allows nodes to share resources.

k. URL
“Uniform Resource Locator” - colloquially termed a web address, is a reference to a web
resource that specifies its location on a computer network and a mechanism for retrieving it.

l. Home Page
Is a webpage that serves as the starting point of websit.

m. Web Page
Is a document commonly written in Hypertext Markup Language(HTML) that is accessible
throught the internet or other network using an internet browser.

n. HTML
“Hypertext Markup Language(HTML)” - the authoring language used to create documents on
the World Wide Web.
