About Shree Swarna Kamakshi Temple @ Mangalapuri:

Shree Kamakshi Kaingarya Trust established a “Center for Universal Peace, Welfare and Happiness “(Shakthi Peet Kendra”)
at Kannanthangal village in Kanchipuram district which is approx. 60 kms from Chennai. At Shakthi Peet Kendra, there is a
dedicated Sri Swarna Kamakshi Devi temple where all the daily prayers are dedicated to Vasudeva Kutumbakam or the
Universal family as per Vedic tradition by Vedic pundits on full time basis. This temple is built entirely as per Shilpa Sastra
made of rock stone with a ‘go green concept’ in mind.

Shakthi Sangamam: At this Kendra on the directions of its founder Sri Guru Sri Kamakshi Swamigal, the Trust is reviving
a very ancient Indian tradition of 108 Sakthi Peet Devi’s worship. by bringing all 108 Shakthi Peet Devis (spread across the
Universe as per the Brahmanda Puranam) at a single place with 108 individual Shakthi Devi temples.

108 Shakthi Peet Devi temples forms an outer layer to the Shree Swarna Kamakshi devi temple as this confluence of 108
Shakthi Peet Devis is unique and is as per the tradition enunciated by Maharishi Veda Vyasa.

108 Shakthi Temple Consecration: The Kumbabishekam of this unique Peetam of 108 Shakthi Peetams is planned on
Sunday, 10-February-2019 after Prana Prathishta and being dedicated to the society.
