INNER CONFLICT
WHAT IS IT?
• An inner conflict happens when
one part of you disagrees with
what the other part is doing.

INNER CONFLICT
WHAT IS IT?
• For example, coming up with a creative idea for a
business venture that seems to have vast potential, and
that really excites you—but that’s pretty scary as well.
• However, it may cause not only failure but it could cause
you to lose your life savings. And more, you might even
be sued, or hurt your family, or end up feeling stupid and
humiliated.

SINGAPORE - For
seven long years, she
battled her eating
disorder. Not only did
she lose a lot of
weight, she lost nearly
all her friends and
almost her life. At her
lowest, Miss Angeline
Yap Siling weighed
just 33kg and was, in
her mother's words, a
walking skeleton. She
mutilated herself and
also tried to kill
herself. – Asia One

INNER CONFLICT RESOLUTION
1. DON'T PUSH AWAY ANNOYING THOUGHTS
• Pushing away those thoughts will only make them more
intense.
• Just let your mind know you received the message so
that it stops bothering you with it.
• Think of the possibilities, the options you have and
possible ways to get out of the problem.

2. DON’T VIOLATE YOUR VALUES
• When you move against what you believe in your
subconscious mind will do its best to bring you back to
the right track and as a result your mind will start fighting
itself.
• Do your best to stick to what you believe in and if it
happened that you violated any of your values just make
sure you don't do the same mistake again.

4. BE TIME CONSCIOUS
• When you get older or pass
from one major life phase to
another, you will always find
yourself measuring your
progress in life with your peers.
• If you were prepared for that
moment by having a plan that
you are following then most
probably you wont get affected.
