GOAL
SOLUTION
The Item Organization is for situations where you would have no Items stored. It is nothing but a logical concept. No
actual physical inventory exists. So for example a customer with Financial or CRM definitions only in Product Management
would choose that.
For anyone needing to put away Inventory, Receive, Pick or Ship against locations, the Inventory Organization has to be
chosen.
