PRELIMINARY

Background
Creativity can be obtained from various things done in everyday life. Students' intelligence
and talents can also be well developed through appropriate media. Student talent must be
developed and honed early. The power of creativity and imagination that supports student
talent is still very high at a young age.
Through the power of creativity and imagination that are constantly honed, students can
improve and grow sensitivity to aesthetics. An artistic soul in students can develop a critical,
creative, appreciative, and caring attitude about various phenomena that surround them.
These attitudes need to be fostered through an activity that is able to provoke creativity, for
example an art performance. Through this activity, various kinds of art performances can be
done by students. For example, such as musical performances, dance, and so forth.

Benefits Of Perfoming Art Activities:

• Train students to show their talents.
• Increase the potential of every student outside the academic field.
• Teach togetherness and collaboration between students.
• As a place to channel student creativity and get a decent stage.
• Teach students to be able to appreciate the work of others well and politely.
For this reason, it is very important to perform art activities because of the various benefits
students can get. Performing arts activities at SMK Negeri 1 Bojonggede must be carried out
to foster students' hidden creativity and talent. Because of this, the State Vocational School
1 Bojonggede held an art performance in the 2017/2018 school year outside of effective
school hours.

AIM
The objectives to be achieved through this art performance activity include:
• Becomes a showcase of creativity for all students of SMK 1 Bojonggede
• Creating and training collaboration between students.
• Increase the relationship between students and also between teachers and students.

RESULTS OF ACTIVITIES:
By students:
- 2 groups show talent in music.
- 1 group shows talent in the field of choir
- 9 groups showing talent in the field of dance / modern dance.
- 1 Students show talent in the field of vocal / solo
- 1 Student Showing talent in the field of stand up comedy

CLOSING

Conclution
Based on the activities of SMK N 1 Bojonggede that have been carried out, this art performance
event is very potential to find out the hidden artistic talents of students and become a means to
establish cohesiveness and collaboration between students and teachers.

Suggestion
Thus the report on the activities of the State Vocational High School 1 Bojonggede in the academic
year 2017/2018 which was held smoothly and successfully. We realize that this report still has many
shortcomings, so we apologize profusely for these deficiencies. It is hoped that this report can be
considered for improvement in future activities.
