Topik : Rusting

Learning objective : At the end of the class, pupils will be able to carry out a test
on the rusting of iron and state what are teh factors that
causes rusting.

Learning outcome : Pupils


1) design a test to identify the factors that cause rusting.
2) carry out a test on the rusting of iron.
3) State the factors that causes rusting

Prior knowledge : It can generally assumes that pupils have seen rusted and
non-rusted objects. However, they might not have seen of the
factors that cause the rusting of iron.

Scientific skills : Science Process Skill:


1) Observing; Students observe the rusty and non-rusty
nails.
2) Predicting; Students predict which nails will rust and non-
rust.
3) Controlling variables; Students name the fixed variable,
manipulated variable and responding variable fot the test.
4) Experimenting; Students carry out test to investigate the
factors taht causes rusting.
