Unit 3: Music
1. Class description: 26 students, 13 boys and 13 girls
2. Time: 45 minute
3. Objectives: - Skill: After the lesson, Ss will be able to
+ take notes while reading
+ read for gist and answer the questions
+ guess the meaning of the words in context
- Language: Ss will be able to
+ apply new words to summarize the text
4. Assumed knowledge: Ss have already known some vocabulary items
related to the topic
5. Anticipated problem(s): There maybe time left, so the teacher should
prepare at least one extra activity.
6. Teaching aids: book, projector, visual aid, puzzle
7. Procedure

7.1 Warm up (8m)
- Prepares seven puzzle sets of
seven TV show logos.
Eg:Who wants to be a Millionaire,
American Idol, Master Chef,
America's Next Top Model, The
Voice US, The Amazing Race,
The Face
- Divides the class into 7 groups - Listen to T’s instruction
- Gives each group a puzzle set - Work in group to solve the
