 Introduction

The Hotel Management system is to generalize and simplify the monthly or day to day
activities of Hotel like Room activities, Check in of New Customer, Check out of
customer, Assigning a room according to customer requirement, and finally compute
the bill etc. which has to be performed repeatedly on regular basis. To provide efficient,
fast, reliable and user-friendly system is the basic motto behind this exercise. And show
the Hotel room facilities, Book room. The main aim of the entire activity is to automate
the process of day to day activities of Hotel like Room activities, Admission of a New
Customer, Assign a room according to customer’s demand, checkout of a computer and
releasing the room and finally compute the bill etc.
 Abstract
This website of hotel aims at creating an Online Hotel Management system which can
be used by customers to reserve hotel rooms, read about hotel, check hotel gallery. This
website of hotel will remove the hectic task of customers and executive for searching
and booking rooms in hotel. The system will help the administrative staff i.e. executive
of the hotel to keep the daily and the history record details of the customers in proper
Database. Customer can book rooms in advance seating anywhere across the world.
The hotel website will allow customer to remotely access to hotel database only for
customer after the authorization procedures. The custom could search, book rooms and
give feedback.
 Objective
Creation of website is ideal solution for the hospitality industry that can be used at hotels,
motels, resorts, lodges, hostels, military guest houses, suits, apartments and bed &
breakfast operations. This website aims at creating an online hotel management system
which can be used by customers to reserve hotel rooms. Users can check the status of
rooms and facilities. The administrator will know the details of reservations and daily
income. The website avoid manual and repetitive work and provide real time
information of availability of rooms. This website allow user to search and reserve a hotel
room over the internet at any time from anywhere. This website also improve the decision
making. This website covers various aspects in hotel management and always performs
user friendly. It helps to ease staff with facilities for reservation process. It saves the time
which was wasting more and more in manual work.

 Hardware requirements
 Operating System supports all known operating systems, such as Windows,
Linux etc.
 Computer 512MB+ RAM, monitor, keyboard, and mouse or laptop.

 Software requirements
 Netbeans(8.00 and above) & MySQL.
 Web browser (chrome or Firefox).
