PURPOSIVE COMMUNICATIONS

I. OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:
A. Identify the Types of Purposive Communications, the macro skills and The
Feedback Mechanism.
B. Express thoughts on the importance of Purposive Communications.
C. Learn and apply the importance of Purposive Communications.

Subject: Purposive Communications
Topic: Types of Purposive Communications and The Feedback Mechanism.

 I am going to ask the class what are the similarities that they
have noticed upon playing the Activities.
D. Lesson Proper
The teacher discusses the Communication Process.
Communication process is a two way process in which people
shares an Ideas, thoughts, information’s and feelings.

The Communication Process has its four (4) types:


Verbal Communication, that uses words and languages.
Non-Verbal Communication that uses symbols, gestures and
codes.

Written Communication means the sending of messages,


orders or instructions in writing through letters, circulars,
manuals, reports, telegrams, office memos, bulletins.

Visual Communication is a broad spectrum that includes signs,


typography, drawing, graphic design, illustration, industrial
design, advertising, animation, color, and electronic resources.

E. Application
Apply the Types of Communication Process in a real scenario.
The Teacher should give an tasks and activities, so that they are
gaining knowledge and skills in Communication.

F. Valuing
The teacher asks the students the following questions:
What is the meaning of, “Choose your words, because once they
are spoken? They can only be forgiven but not forgotten.”

G. Generalization
The Teacher asks a volunteer to summarize what he/she learned
about the topic.

V. EVALUATION
Debating: “Book or E-Book?” “Friends or Money?”

VI. ASSIGNMENT
In 1 whole sheet of paper, create an example of the Types of
Communication Process.
