c. appreciate the importance of the sense organ in our body.

Eyes is our sense of sight.
Nose is our sense of smelling.
Ear is our sense of hearing.
Tongue is our sense of taste.
Skin is our sense of touch.

What is in the picture?

Five senses

What are they? The eyes, nose, ears, tongue and skin.

Five Senses
Our senses allow us to learn, to protect
ourselves, to enjoy our world.

Can you imagine what it might be like to live No mam!

The senses usually work together to give us a
clear picture of the things around us.

What are the functions of each sense organ?


Seeing
The eyes is for?
Eyes provide vision and the sense of sight to human
beings, animals, birds, fishes, etc.
Smelling
The nose for?
Nose allow us to breath.
The ears is for?
Hearing
The ear allow us to hear sounds.
The tongue is for?
Tasting
The tongue allow us to detect whether the item
consumed is salty, sweet, bitter or sour.
The skin is for?
Used for different situations like
pain, temperature, pressure, etc. For example, when
Touching
we touch something hot like a hot cup of tea or
coffee, we instantly move our hands away from it.
