application to your program. I have been teaching Pediatrics at Belgrade University, so I hope
my perspective will be helpful to you as you evaluate this exceptional candidate.
Dr. Vujinovic was my student in Pediatrics course, in the summer term of 2011, during her fifth
year of undergraduate studies. I was also the supervisor for her graduation thesis. Lena is,
without question, one of the outstanding students I have taught at School of Medicine in
Belgrade. I found her to be a conscientious and hardworking student. She has shown an
especially great interest in children’s neurology and psychiatry. Lena made intelligent and
insightful contributions during small-group discussions, and her performance in class, convinced
me of her remarkable intellectual qualities. I was often surprised by her initiative and
dedication.
She has taken part in some student research programs under my supervision. During her work
on the project, she has shown creativity, seriousness and responsibility, and especially a great
ability to solve problems of different kind.
Your program of study sounds ideally suited to Lena’s needs and talents, taking in account her
interest in research. Just as importantly, she would come with an enthusiasm for learning, as
well as a resolute desire to understand new ideas.
Beside this, Dr. Vujinovic is also a friendly, sincere and caring person with an optimistic and
energetic attitude.
