ACQUAINTANCE PARTY 2019 MECHANICS AND

GUIDELINES

A. HAWAIIAN/MODERN DANCE MECHANICS:

Each Section will perform a dance number with a time minimum of 3 maximum of 5 minutes.
Beyond this limit, a total of 5 points will be deducted from the group’s total score.

1. All students in each section should participate.

2. The dance number must have an accompaniment of any music, which is modern and Hawaiian.
3. The use of props is allowed.
4. The CRITERIA for judging are the following:
1. Choreography (Creativity, Artistry, Style & Originality) - 50%
2. Execution (Mastery, Timing & Coordination, Projection & Expression) - 35%
3. Costume/Props - 15%

5. The decision of the members of the board of judges is final and irrevocable.
6. Failure to participate in this event will pay a fine of Php. 1,000.

B. URIAN PRINCE AND PRINCESS

1. Each section must have one male and one female participant.

2. Participants will complete on the following categories/ special awards:

• Best in Bohemian Attire

• Best in Jeans Attire

• Urian Favorite

• Darling of the Crowd

• Best in Interview

3. Participants should only wear light make-up in pictorials.

4. Daring Bohemian attire is prohibited.

5. Each participant should have a coin box. These coin boxes are to be filled by the fans

supporters a week before the competition and to be collected by SSG/SGC officers on the day

of the Pageant.

6. The decision of the members of the board of judges is final and irrevocable.

7. Failure to participate in this event will pay a fine of Php. 1,000.
