Where to live?
St Helens Plan
 Keep Leftovers
 Find Part time job
 Visit Chester regularly as possible.

Chester (Current Contract 11 months)

 Annual Rent £3640 (£364 p/m All inclusive)
 £1253 (minimum from tuition)
 30-hour minimum wage job is roughly 12012 a year (£1001 a month) (£637 for Food, etc and Personal p/m)

Chester (Another Place)

Same as previous just change rent amount

Alternate Plan
 Get out of my current contract, hopefully retain £200 deposit
 upon coming back from Florida, move in with Mel in her new flat (she’s on her own no housemates)
 I would use the time to ensure a place a job and a more reasonable prices place to live in Chester (would be
easier to find lower price since I don’t need to be near campus and I would be a student so no council tax, I
would also have to be less picky about jobs since I am also doing my masters.)
 Move into own place with established job and probably more reasonable rent.

Questions?

What if something doesn’t work out with Melissa? (e.g. breakup etc)

I could still try and get jobs and place from St Helens, if not I can always move back to St Helens and continue the
masters from there. And honestly, I’d be more inclined to move back if I were no longer with Melissa for obvious
reasons.

What if I can’t find any work or a well-priced place?

I would still be able to move back home and follow the St Helens plan. But at least I gave staying in Chester a try.
