Eligibility Criteria
Provisional admission shall be granted on the basis of 1 st year marks or 1st
Two years result for DAE or equivalent. Complete result shall be required,
following minimum criteria shall be observed.

 At least 45% marks in the relevant Intermediate/DAE or equivalent

degree shall be required to apply for all undergraduate programs (Bs
& Associate Degree) Except Bs-Architecture degree programs.

 At least 60% marks in F.Sc (Pre-Engineering/DAE or equivalent) shall

be required to apply for the B.Sc Engineering Degree offered by
faculty of Engineering & Technology,

 At least 50% marks in F.Sc /D.A.E equivalent degree shall be required

to apply for BS Architecture.

 At least 45% marks in F.sc/DAE or equivalent degree shall be required

to apply for Bs-Technology degree programs in faculty of Engineering
& Technology.

The provisional admission awarded on the basis of first year examination

shall be confirmed after submission of 2nd year result. In this regard, the
candidate shall have to submit an affidavit confirming that he/she shall
secure above mentioned respective minimum required marks in the 2nd
year relevant examination; otherwise, the provisional admission shall stand
cancelled.

DAE (Diploma in Associate Engineering), duly recognized by PBTE (Pakistan

Board of Technical Education), holders may apply against two percent (2%)
reserved seats in relevant BSc-Engineering.

DAE (Diploma in Associate Engineering), duly recognized by PBTE (Pakistan

Board of Technical Education), holders may apply against five percent (5%)
reserved seats in BS-Computer Science, BS-Information Technology, BS-
Software Engineering and Bachelor degrees offered by SADA (School of Art,
Design & Architecture) except Architecture.

Diploma in Architecture (3 years) holders may apply against 01 percent (1%)

reserved seats in Bachelor of Architecture.
Pre-engineering, I. Com and IT along with Sociology, Psychology, Education,
Economics, Statistics, Philosophy and pre-medical in Intermediate may apply
for Admission in BS-Psychology for fall-2016.

In case of “O”, “A” level education or foreign certificates, a marks

equivalence certificate from Inter Board Committee of Chairmen is required
for admission.
University of Engineering & Technology (UET), Lahore Entry Test shall be
required for admissions to BSc Engineering Programs.

Unless mentioned in admission advertisement, complete admission form(s)

against open merit or reserve seats for Undergraduate degree program(s)
shall be received in the respective Dean office OR Campus Director office by
notified due date.
Incomplete or late received admission forms shall not be entertained.
All offered degree programs shall run under semester system.
Departmental Entry / Aptitude Test (where required) and interview shall be
mandatory as per departmental criteria.
Under special circumstances, the Competent Authority may be requested for
age relaxation as per following detail; however, the candidate shall have to
apply for the same within due date.

All Undergraduate degree programs
included;Bs/B-Com/BBA/LLB/B- Five year for females
Tech/B.sc Engineering & Associate
Degree (After 12 years of education) Two year for males

No age limit will be applicable for all Evening/Weekend programs excluding

undergraduate programs offered by the university of Gujrat.

Merit Determination Criteria for Undergraduate Degree Programs including;

BS/B-Com /BBA/LLB/B-Tec/BSc-Engineering and Associate Degrees (after 12
years of education)

For all Undergraduate degree programs (BS/B-Com /BBA/LLB/B-Tec/ and

Associate Degree Programs; after 12 years of education) the merit shall be
determined as;
Thirty percent (30%) weightage of obtained marks in Matriculation or
equivalent

Seventy percent (70 %) weightage of obtained marks in Intermediate / DAE

or equivalent

For BSc Engineering / BS Technology Degree programs merit shall be

determined as;

Seventy percent (70 %) weightage of obtained marks in Intermediate or DAE

(Diploma in Associate Engineering) duly recognized by PBTE (Pakistan Board
of Technical Education) or equivalent.

Thirty percent (30%) weightage of obtained marks in University of

Engineering Technology (UET) Lahore Entry Test for B.Sc Engineering

Department will conduct a test on its own for BS Technology

For School of Art, Design & Architecture (SADA) Undergraduate degrees

programs merit shall be determined as:

Thirty percent (30%) weightage of obtained marks in Matriculation or

equivalent

Forty percent (40%) weightage of obtained marks in Intermediate or DAE

duly recognized from PBTE (Pakistan Board of Technical Education) or
equivalent.

Fifteen percent (15%) weightage of obtained marks in departmental ad

mission test.

Fifteen percent (15%) weightage of obtained marks in departmental

interview

List of selected candidates shall be displayed on UOG website and

departmental notice boards as per admission calendar.

General Admission Procedure

Application must be online by logging onto UOG website www.uog.edu.pk

within Due date.
Admission processing fee through computer generated challan shall be
deposited in any branch of HBL nationwide.
The printout of the final online submitted application along with deposited
challan of admission processing fee and attested copies of required
documents must reach to the office of the respective Dean or campus
Director.
Incomplete or late received application shall not be entertained.
Further details including reserved seats are available in the UOG prospectus
accessible on UOG website.
List of the selected candidates shall be displayed on website and
departmental notice boards as per admission calendar.
