Dear Law Graduate School faculty members,  

 
With  great  pleasure,  I  am  writing  this  report  on  behalf  of  Armando  José  Borge  Reyes 
(ID#001-020882-0027H).  
 
I  met  Armando  Borge  in September of 2018 when he, along with other people, started an IELTS 
Prep  Course  (30  hours  per  month  during  six  months)  I  designed  as  part  of  my  services  in 
Quantum  Learning.  Throughout  this  time  we  worked  together,  we focused on achieving Bands 
7.5-8;  this  included  working  towards  being able to communicate effectively under academic and 
general  purposes.  As  a  result  of  this  training,  Armando  marked  an average Band 8 in IELTS that 
corresponds  to  a  C1  of  the  Common  European  Framework  of  References  for  Languages.  As  a 
consequence  for  this  mark,  Armando  Borge  is  someone  who  can  naturally  and  professionally 
perform under any given context due to his command of the language.   
 
As  a  consequence  of being a band 8, Armando communicates coherently and appropriately using 
a  wide  range  of  academic  and  general  vocabulary.  His  command  of  grammar  under  oral  use  is 
outstanding,  for  he  uses  different  structures  flexibly  and  almost  error-free.  As  well, his L1 accent 
does not affect his L2 pronunciation, so clarity and intelligibility are always present in his speech.   
 
Furthermore  and  in  relation  to  his  writing,  Armando  makes  accurate  use  of  a  wide  range  of 
vocabulary.  His  written  grammar  knowledge  allows  him  to  create  pieces  that  communicate 
complex  ideas  targeting  who  he  writes  for,  including  the  use  of  a  variety  of  sentence  structures, 
transitions,  and conjunctions. The aforementioned writing pieces are mostly error-free, coherent, 
and cohesive. This is easily proven when Armando is given any task that ranges from short emails 
in all their varieties to reports and essays.  
 
Lastly,  Armando’s  receptive  skills  (listening  and  reading)  correspond  to  someone  who  can 
effectively  process  any  given  piece  of  information.  His  comprehension  is  noticeable  in  his 
productive skills’ responses either in written or oral form.   
 
In  conclusion  and  as  his  former  language  instructor,  I  can  assure  that Armando Borge has all the 
needed  skills  to  perform  any  given  task  in  English,  be  it  oral  or  written,  general,  professional  or 
academic.  So,  I extend this report for all the purposes Armando considers necessary. If any further
