Answer 1:

Simulation is the process of creating or pretending a real situation into artificial situation to solve a
particular problem. Park created by Mr. Shahzad is the perfect example of Stimulation in the following
ways:
1. Artificial Lake has been dug and filled to give him a natural forest look.
2. Trees/Plants that have been planted are a mix of native species which includes different types of
Fruits, vegetables as well as some decorative trees have been added by him to his park to give it natural
appearance of forest.

Answer 2:
Yes, Simulation improves Assessment skills of a researcher as it offers detailed analysis of on-going
activity, often over a period of time, using a variety of methods to gain an all-round picture of that
activity's current benefits and future potential. As a result, researcher will go on experimenting with new
things to achieve future benefits of the activity which allow him to develop different set of assessment
skills.

Answer 3:
Following factors are involved in the simulation scenario i.e. Urban Forest:

1. Temperature of Karachi is raising day by day due to lack of greenery in the city. As Greenery is one of
the essential factor that controls the climate, thus, it is quite necessary to create small green patch in
the city which will become a shield against high temperature and improve our environment.

2. Government Projects such as GREEN LINE BUS, CPEC, OBOR and so on are going to make Karachi less
green as thousands of trees will have to be removed for the construction of these huge Projects.

3. For animals, home is where the tree is and as in Karachi, Rapid development and the subsequent
chopping of trees has not only created problems for residents but also damaged the habitat of many
birds and animals that lived here. Therefore, it is very crucial to protect wildlife because birds, animals
and insects help to maintain the ecological balance which supports life.

Answer 4:
Yes, this is certainly true that these types of projects are critical need of an hour as Karachi is facing
intense heat wave due to significant loss of forest cover over the years and temperature has gone high
up to 42OC last year and has been predicted further rise up to 45-47OC this year, therefore, this is right
time to take initiative to counter adverse effects of climate change and invest more resources in projects
like Urban forest.

Answer 5:
I would like to donate certain amount of money to Mr. Shahzad so that he can plant more native species
of trees in his park. Plus, I would like to invest my time to assist him to take care of his garden. I try to
create my own small garden near my house to make my city green and would make effort to spread his
message to every other person so that they can also be a part of his constructive project and help him to
fulfill his aim.
