Elevators are more intelligent now! They can tell you in advance when is a failure likely to happen
which allows you to take necessary actions in advance and avoid failures. This is “Predictive
Maintenance” using Internet of Things . The controller connects to all Elevator Electronic devices such
as Main Motor Drive, Door Motor Drive, ARD , LOPs and COP on Modbus RTU protocol and after
processing all data , transmits the same through an MQTT based wifi module to a cloud server. The
data at the Cloud server is further processed to create user dash boards, reports, Fault Indications and
other such useful information. Preliminary levels of Machine Learning can also be achieved to predict
Machine Failure .

MACHUNE LEARNING FOR ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

Machine learning develops algorithms for predictive maintenance based on huge historical
data and current data from several installations. The algorithms generate outputs that tell Elevators connected
the user performance about his asset. The quality and quantity of historical and current to Cloud Server
data decides the accuracy of the algorithms. We use current machine data and lessons
learnt in our algorithms to estimate life expectancy of critical elevator components. We
provide real time information as dash boards and trend charts. Reports are generated to
provide statistical information customized over a time period. Fault messages are
displayed as events as they occur as predictive faults are displayed as Alarms. Please talk
